I could really use a Zero gravity support block that runs server side. Ideally this would just look like a wooden cube in editor, and then invisible in game. This way could support things like bridges and larger open rooms without the need for support columns. This would be extremely nice to have. Thanks for considering
Is it transparent when placed?
5. Wouldn't a transparent glass block with increased durability work?

I saw two types of block mods.
I haven't tested them, but what do you think?

CGC Floating Block
Added the floating foundation block from the dev menu into a normal craftable block.
This is 100% server side and EAC safe from what I can see. I have also made it so unlike the normal dev floating block that is only 300HP and zombies can break them very easy, this one has 50k. Just like the dev version this blocks main purpose is to give support horizontally. So you would build a pillar ie 5 blocks tall then go out horizontally for supports, then break the blocks below. Based testing it will provide full support based on the blocks you are building with. IE wood you can place one of the floating blocks, then put 8 wood blocks on top horizontally then place another floating block under that 8th one to continue stability of blocks placed on top

Den3_HDCompositeSteelBlock
New version 1.1.
A high-durability, high-density composite steel block. It can be deformed and placed like a regular block. Crafted at the workbench.
Specifications: 30,000 durability and 90% explosion resistance.
Due to its high cost, it is recommended for use in critical structures like support pillars in defense bases.
The texture is partially reused from the old Forged Steel Block.
You can upgrade from a Steel Block. To upgrade or repair a High-Density Composite Steel Block, you will need a “High-Density Composite Steel Block Kit.” This is also crafted at the workbench.
Upgrading requires either a standard (vanilla) Claw Hammer or a standard Nailgun. Tools like the Stone Axe or modded tools are not supported.
Additionally, upgrading a Steel Block to a High-Density Composite Steel Block increases its mass from 20 to 50, making it significantly heavier.
Please use caution when performing upgrades.
