They could make the debris disappear automatically after a period of time, similar to corpses. Then you wouldn't need to clean up if you didn't want to. Or they could just not have debris. I do like the idea of flying/rolling debris even if it doesn't remain after it hits something, though. What I wouldn't really like is having to continually repair my bases, so maybe it shouldn't harm anything other than the player, or perhaps the vehicle if the player is in the vehicle.I would very much not like this. After a dozen storms there will be a lot of debris that will interfere with movement.

Why not use expanded distance multiple screen overlays, and shadergraph, to create
an artificial 3d parallax view of the debris. With collision detection, and preset gibs,
like when whacking a body, or getting some wood from a log. I would love to see
tumbleweed again in the desert.
