Retractable ladders

It would be great if they added also retractable (manual) ladders, like the fire escape ladders you see sometimes on buildings.



They could be usable for bases instead of using blocks to reach higher ground.

I mean, I just put a ladder at whatever height I can jump. No need for blocks. The zombies have never managed to pile on top of one another to reach it, even without parkour. But that would still be interesting to have.

This happened in older versions, but not in the current one.

This ladder has one small problem: a couple of years without lubrication in a rainy climate and it stops extending.
