PS Lost all my data?

Hey there!
Yesterday I was playing on my roommates server in the world that we've been playing for a few weeks now. We logged out to take a break and when I joined back into the server, it reset all my data and started me back as if I had never played in the world before. And when I do spawn into the world, in the discord part of the players screen, it has me as an entirely different player than my discord account. We tried everything we could find here and online, but nothing has worked

Any idea what would a caused this? We were pretty far into the game and I'd really hate to start over AGAIN. playing on ps5!

If it shows you as a different person, then you'd be treated as a different person on the game. Your profile may have been corrupted or deleted. If the console lets you change profiles, you might be on the wrong one.
 
Unfortunately I'm definitely on the correct profile. I guess I'm more just trying to figure out what could've caused it and if there's any way to get the data back
