Consistent weather from biome to biome

I thought this was going to be part of the weather update....

Simply put, if it is sunny in the desert, going to the next biome does not change that. Why can't we have a clear sunny day in the wasteland? Because of this we usually always make our bases in the desert, to avoid the gloom.

Also, if it is a clear day, why not allow us to see clearly from the Gyro. All we get now when flying up high is a solid greyish colour, zero detail on what is below. I can understand if there is a storm, but having this always sucks. Will this be fixed?

Thanks

Impossible task for TFP team, ask something easier

There are 3 "biome associated" spectums in biomes. Thematic

<spectrum name="desert"/> brownish
<spectrum name="snow"/> white
<spectrum name="wasteland"/> green

They are in biomes.xml, just before <weather name="default"
for each biome

If on a pc just change for each of the biomes to

<spectrum name="desert"/>

Post it just above <weather name="default" with a space in between
for easier reading. That will make it permanent.

By default you will have one lighting spectrum, and all will still
change depending on rain stormy snow or biome storm.

I don't know how many commands work in XB PS Console
But the command would be

spectrum desert

and can be typed in on the fly

Hmm interesting, I wonder why they don't implement this, or have a weather setting for it in the menu. Hey, maybe they will with all the new menu settings coming up.

Or better yet, have all biomes experience seasons and maybe include a calendar system, instead of going day after day and not know what day and month it is. On A16 7 Days, in the Pine Forest, it would randomly start snowing (and a few minutes later the ground would be packed with snow), after countless days had gone by. It was a nice change of scenery, instead of seeing a boring and plain Pine Forest.

I remember It was kind of nice, then you also had wet icy streets, but unfortunately the Pine forest
ground texture looked exactly like the radiated zone, with fallen leaves.

I don't think that will come back, Joel spoke about it after the removal. He said the person that
had enabled it had done some form of an unapproved hack, and he didn't want it to compromise
the integrity of the game at that time.
