How do you download latest experimental build now? No option on steam

I was checking to see if I had the latest experimental build and usually under the Properties>Betas>Where you choose the version latest experimental used to be there.

Latest experimental was the 2.4; as it was made stable, there is no experimental right now. At least my news feed doesn't mention a 2.5 exp being pushed.

that's weird because I thought usually at the very bottom it was there which is why you choose it so it automatically updates it when available, otherwise you have to manually do it. I know a lot of people don't like experimental builds, so I don't believe exp builds auto update without intent from the user... hmmm

I think whenever an experimental is made stable, the selection "sticks" to stable. Only if you have several builds within an experimental (2.4 b1, 2.4 b3 etc) will you have an experimental selection update as experimental. Or something to that effect - probably also up to "whatever TFP is tagging the builds as" and so forth, there may have been inconsistencies along the way.

Yeah, latest_experimental goes away when the experimental version goes to stable. It will be there again when the next experimental version is available.
