PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

Why hire high-quality professionals when you can do the same thing with carefully applied tape and a cleverly placed piece of string and wire?
Now you are getting me started on string.
What can you make from a nail, a length of string and a small branch?
Either a divining rod, or something that can put your cousin's Eye out.
Depends on the day of the week.
My childhood excerpts
What do you get with 2 boys and 1 bb gun?
A beating.
Who shot out my windshield? He did, nuh uh, yuh huh, nuh uh, yuh huh.
What can two bored and creative boys with a rock get into?
Trouble.
Who broke my windshield? He did, nuh uh, yuh huh, nuh uh, yuh huh.
What was one of the most used phrases to get a kid in line.
The devil is gonna get you.
What was the kid's least used reply?
Well, you better go talk to him then, because he made me do it.
What can you make from a slingshot, and red clay?
Seriously ■■■■ed off neighbors.
What is one thing all children should be taught about horses?
Don't scare them from behind, like you do your cousin.

the OLP is putting in an offical request to move 3rd person camera to 4.0+ as it breaks 7d2d pvp in many ways.
work on 3rd person camera should be stopped effective immediately and all resources that are currently dedicated to working on it be reallocated to more current needs...
3rd person camera is probably coming to 2.5. It is basically done, baring a few tweaks.
I did just convey your request for disabling it, with using a server setting, and seems like we can add that, but I don't know when.

Actually, our programmer working on 3rd person already has the server option in there to set camera to player choice, 1st person or 3rd person.

With the new jar system, how will getting honey from trees, and stumps? Because we get jars from them.
They are in a jar, but that does not mean you get a jar back when consuming them.

You don't get the jars back, just like you don't get an empty can when eating canned food.
But jars exist... empty jars? Unlike cans

I would understand them being uncraftable/hard to craft and or find but them adding jars back but not getting them back after using them is imo. Pointless

It's like the system we have now but slightly different.

If they really wanted to make the honey thing work. Just change it from a jar of honey to a honey comb.

Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but I think you did not get a jar back from consuming honey even when jars were in the game... Or did we get one??? If not, then lets pretend that the honey jars are plastic and not glass, so no jars back... Simple, effective, end of story.

I have a good feeling that 2.5 Experimental is coming very soon, judging from the clean-up TFP just did on SteamDB (Steam DataBase); like removing the latest_experimental entry. They usually remove that some days before releasing a new experimental build.
Version 2.1 was also removed.

I guess we'll see soon enough about 2.5 EXP.

Nope, we didn't get one from using honey. And I don't think we should now, either. Of course, I don't want to see empty jars at all and am not looking forward to the changes. Something tells me I can't just entirely ignore them.

I checked the old console version and yes we did get jars back

I tried to post a video but I cant

You can already eat glass; there's broken glass in the game. Jars won't change that part at all.
You mean for you "Jars won't change that part at all" most people do not carry broken glass around in their inventory, actually kinda wierd that anyone would, Jars now become a viable option again for times players need that broken glass.
