PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

There could be a 2.7, but we would not know if we need it and what it would contain, until we see how all these features turn out and how long they take and what more we decide to do.

We are always working to improve the game. Just like I have some changes for AI destroy area I am working on this week, where AI will be able to share areas to attack and covering more combined area, instead of each AI always doing their own block scan.
Sorry, my translator sometimes is dumb. I wanted to talk about the physics of land vehicles, as well as the opportunity to add a vehicle(motocross?), a weapon, new zombie skins, better zombie animations (the 2016 animations lol), and maybe some additional zombie animations. Maybe bogue fixes and engine improvements for more advanced graphics options. 🥰
I'm worried about one thing: will there be fewer features in version 2.6 than in version 2.5? Maybe the 2.6 will be the last before 3.0 but maybe u can make the 2.6 full to the brim in additionnal content and rework and bog fix? Idk(the bests ideas is here. and in the dream pimp section too😝 not Somewhere else)
 
To me it looks like exactly the same Native American model as before, except with a shirt, wearing a cowboy hat instead of a bandana, and without the obviously Native American necklace. Same face, same long hair, and same body (from what I can see).

It's not like Native Americans aren't ranchers or cowboys, especially in rural Arizona. That's how most Native American ranchers or farmers dress.
I mean i suppose your right but I liked the older model better cuz it fits with the Cazadors design

New stuff will decrease with newer versions in 2.x because minor updates are mainly for fixes or changes and any additional features they are adding are going to be mostly in 2.5 from what faatal said. They are combining things into that version. That means 2.6 will likely be a fairly small update with few new things and mostly focus on fixing issues from 2.5. Don't forget that they are finishing up the game and that most new features being added are already mentioned either in regards to the 2.x changes or on the timeline for 3.0 and 4.0. They are at the end stages of development at this point.

New vehicles aren't likely unless they do a DLC or something after 4.0. New weapons aren't likely other than the legendary weapons they've already discussed, which seem to be planned for 3.x since there hasn't been talk about those, though they may surprise us and add them in 2.x. Considering they are moving to bandits next, it's unlikely they'll spend time on new zombie skins any time soon because bandits are the new enemies and they need to work on those. And they've been updating animations and will continue to do so, though you may not see the changes that you are looking for, depending on what those are. Bug fixes and optimizations are always being done.

Désolé, mon traducteur fait parfois des siennes. Je voulais parler de la physique des véhicules terrestres, ainsi que de la possibilité d'ajouter un véhicule (une moto de cross ?), une arme, de nouveaux skins de zombies, de meilleures animations de zombies (celles de 2016, lol), et peut-être quelques animations supplémentaires. Une chose m'inquiète : y aura-t-il moins de fonctionnalités dans la version 2.6 que dans la version 2.5 ? the twos are what they feel confident will be mostly favorable,
publicly with the least amount of inconsistency . And some of the extra
things may have been originally slated for late 2x or 3.0 but are being
released now.

Madmole and others are already actively evaluating and troubleshooting
3.0 (b49) and later versions. Just revisit his jar screenshot on reddit. That was
a positive outlook for me. The version in the corner I mean.

They are on 3.0 b79 as of today. I was doing a dig quest and I saw a squad of 5 bandits run by about 40 meters away. They did not see me. They stopped and spread out a bit much like wandering zombies do when they reach their endpoint. I killed one of them while crouched using my wooden bow and killed him instantly. Three nearby zombies ran over and started eating his corpse. It was fun to watch what happened next.

Then I got back to digging. I couldn't let Jenn down.

Yes, their animation people are still doing animation work. That will likely continue until near to 4.0, though a lot of their focus will likely be on the bandit animations for a while. But from what they've said, bandit animations are at least somewhat connected to player animations, so improving one can improve the other as well. How much people will notice is unknown, of course. Some improvements may be minor and not easily noticed by most players.

I wounder how else they will play out and tbh im kinda sad we are getting just 9 models. Cuz I feel they will get old really quickly. Unless its 9 per faction.

I also really am wondering how melee combat is going to play with them.

And I think the Pimps should announce it so it can shut people up. But then again people will ■■■■■ about it too
