PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

Ok with the reintroduction of smell hear me out...you are exploring in the middle of the city with your friends or family...and you decide to throw a ■■■■ right at the one that has ■■■■ed you off the most...zombies start to smell them and all run to kill that person! sorry had to bring up ■■■■ Gate again! lol

Good...I miss smell not being in the game anymore and the same with temperature and wetness levels. Now for them to finally get fully implemented into the game and survival will be awesome.
It only works when in your inventory or if you eat something that is considered "smelly". So you can't throw it at someone like that. :)

Well, if you use bugs to translate it's no surprise the translation sucks!
Depends on what kind of bugs you employ to do the translation? Are you talking about cockroaches or beetles or stink bugs? Some are smarter than others. :D

Every time someone mentions bugs, I think of a fruit fly.
It has the attention span, or task focus of 4 seconds.

Imagine a conversation with a fruit fly.

Scenario 1 an average attention span to fruit fly.
It would be like: Who’s on first. by Abbott and Costello.

Scenario 2: Fruit fly to fruit fly
You remind me of the babe, What babe? The babe with the power.
What power? The power of Voodoo. Who do? You do. What were we
talking about again.

Relationship 1: How you doin? I'm fine how about you? How you doin?
Dejavu.

Relationship 2: Does this outfit look bad? ...........I'm thinkin.
Does this outfit look bad? ...........I'm still thinkin.
Conversation would be reduced to flash cards, or emojis. 5wo4qf04uvgp5pqcbryinkiamg1i.pngE

last time smell was active in game removing it from your bag to any container stopped it
That's what I was thinking also. TFP wants the smell system to affect the player, by having the zombies go after you, but not go after your storage or vehicles.
In this case, should certain animals also go after you if you carry smelly food? I'm thinking bears, wolves, coyotes and even zombie dogs and vultures.

When I wrote "bears, wolves", I meant, including zombie bears and dire wolves.
