A lot of furniture is not accessible. It would be a cool feature to see some tools, that would enable players to pick up any furniture.
Those tools could have tiers, that would enable players to pickup even bigger furnitures etc.

I don't think they'll add this because it would be so easy to just grab stuff from POI. There isn't a difference between a player-placed block and a block that's part of a POI. As Adam said, if they make it so we can craft those things, that would be plenty.
