Very possible they will be locked behind the crucible. Wonder how many people are still going to be excited for the return of jars then.
Well you can scoop water again and they wanted it harder. So my guess is they will be overjoyed with happiness.Very possible they will be locked behind the crucible. Wonder how many people are still going to be excited for the return of jars then.
Doesn't make much sense, but a lot better than the current magic portals to the watery realms...Very possible they will be locked behind the crucible.
You have to speak up, brother, can't make sense of you... you cute thou.

You mean the complaints about the removal of jars weren’t really being made in good faith by some and instead were simply latched on to because it seemed an effective message? It will be sad if the people complaining about the removal of jars aren’t happy but I guess that is the consequence of people not being honest about their motivations to themselves and others.Wonder if they will realize that, for many of us, jars were one of many straws on that poor camels back. "Bring back jars!" was more of a rally cry if you will.
I don't think it was ever about Jars. The "Jars Movement" began because some players could not accept the fact that you suddenly were unable to collect water from rivers and lakes. You mean the complaints about the removal of jars weren’t really being made in good faith by some and instead were simply latched on to because it seemed an effective message? If the return of jars won’t make the critics happy why should TFP ever consider their feedback or input? TFP would be better of ignoring that part of the community. You can’t act on feedback that isn’t honestly provided because it serves no purpose. It won’t make the critics happy and is unlikely to please anyone else in the long run.
Not exactly directed at you, but this thread and topic has ended up being the weirdest gaslighting of strawmen I've seen outside of politics lately...You mean the complaints about the removal of jars weren’t really being made in good faith by some and instead were simply latched on to because it seemed an effective message?
If they do that, water survival will become looting simulator even more.According to Roland they plan on locking them behind the crucible. Now we just need to get rid of the dew collector and get some actual water survival.

What do YOU Think About This Balance? (Empty Glass Jar) :: 7 Days to Die General Discussions
So... We already know the fight between the community and the developers related to the Empty Glass Jar. I'm playing with my 2 friends, and I made a modlet to balance (in my point of view) the Empty Glass Jar. First: I brought back the Empty Glass Jar to the game, after drinking jars you get...steamcommunity.com
Assuming drinking doesn't destroy jars; grabbing half a stack of flowers to throw at rekt would net you a good few jars from the vendo atm. I'd be kinda fine with that, even for a "bushman" game (minimal looting). You don't need more than a day's worth anyway at a time, campfires are free and pot just costs an inv slot.If they do that, water survival will become looting simulator even more.
Unless you got other options as to where you get stuff to drink, people will have to grind drinks either by looting, or by abusing the treader.

We're honestly about to be discussing "optimizing methods for identifying bad faith glass jar arguments for a video game" here. Could there be a less useful use for anyone's time?![]()
At face value, yes; absolutely. But for this topic (not necessarily thread) there's a whole lot of useless "they're just lazy and weak" -type of discussion about anonymous blobs of random posters that may or may not have made a claim that is being discussed. THAT is rather pointless, IMO; can't refute or agree to a claim that hasn't been made. Nothing bannable of course, just weirdDiscussing the motivation of the protesters seems quite central to the topic. It determines whether specific implementations will satisfy some of the protesters or not.
The reason there is little reaction for it is because this is only a small part of the overall ■■■■ up that they now decided to address. But they do things in a lazy way usually with no actual improvement to the gameplay. So this is just damage control without any further thought or water survival improvement. That's an interesting observation. With how many people were complaining about them, now that they are going to return, there's silence. Where are all the people jumping for joy over it? There are some who are saying they are happy here, but not a lot. And even many of those who do don't seem to be very excited about it. It makes you wonder how many really cared about them versus how many just wanted an easy thing to complain about.
