I'd be asking a mod author first myself.... Are you on console or PC? I'm working on a theory that platform manufacturer greed has ruined video games for all of us. There is the sticky fact that all software manufacturers and distributors have gone to either a subscription or leasing model to centend with though, so I gather it's all-pervasive.

I love swat armor, I even bought my own in real life and I get baked and roll around in it and freak out anyone who drops by. Although I am getting old and fat so it doesn't fit anymore. Try it, drink a mickey of vodka or smoke a doobie and try to do exercises in full swat gear. Jump through a window, shoot a dog, etc. (Don't let me live vicariously through you.) JK. Not really.
