Anyone else done the same?![]()
I really should, but the current armors don't really speak to me. 7D2D is up there when it comes to hours played per dollar, so I'd like to support them with a DLC purchase at some point. I'll keep an eye out for one that matches my style.I bought the Desert and Marauder sets to further support TFP.

Tbh I think it looks best on the male. It looks functionalI got them when they 1st released it and on sale.
I agree with many others though, they are WAY overpriced but it was strictly to show support.
That desert gear does look good on my female avatar![]()
Doesn't the ammo influence damage? I mean if I remember correctly the ammo has damage and block damage in their descriptions.
I bought all of them.

But I only use parts of each. I really only bought it to support them. Im not getting the samurai set, though I think it looks silly

I bought the Desert Outfit a couple of days ago and love it on my female character. Nicely done Fun Pimps!I think the backpacks are the best thing about the desert armor DLC imo. I have used it a few times now.
is it just the look or does it give you more carrying capacity?I think the backpacks are the best thing about the desert armor DLC imo. I have used it a few times now.
Armor DLC are cosmetic only.is it just the look or does it give you more carrying capacity?
I am not trying to be insulting, just being thorough, do you own the DLC in question?Armor DLC are cosmetic only.
It's up to Riamus to tell you if he owns it or not (he doesn't have to), but I own the Desert outfit and it's cosmetic only; doesn't add any storage space. It would be in the description if it did.I am not trying to be insulting, just being thorough, do you own the DLC in question?
Thank you, i did want to hear that from someone who actually has the dlc, just to be sure, and for the very reason you suggested. TFP do not communicate well. It's up to Riamus to tell you if he owns it or not (he doesn't have to), but I own the Desert outfit and it's cosmetic only; doesn't add any storage space. I know that it's up to us to figure out these things most of the time since TFP are usually not very communicative with some of the new stuff (see the purple hat for a good example of that).![]()
Yup, they are purely cosmetic. I bought all three, again just for support to the Pimps.Thank you, i did want to hear that from someone who actually has the dlc, just to be sure, and for the very reason you suggested. TFP do not communicate well.
I do not, but they have said previously that the armor DLC would be cosmetic only. If they decided to change that, you can be sure that the description will say that it adds something because having that info in the description has a good chance of getting people to buy it. It would just be a bad financial decision to not include something like that in the description if it were true. Sure, they could make such a bad decision, but it's very unlikely.I am not trying to be insulting, just being thorough, do you own the DLC in question?
Back when we could dye armor (and clothing), my general go-to was red, my brother's was black. For the group games, others used different colors. Mad it easier to distinguish people at a distance. For 2.0 I got the Desert DLC and primarily use that, others reply on base game armors when they can. My only change is I usually alter the outfit to the lumberjack outfit skin (but retain the rest of the desert skin) since it gives me my reddish shirt. It's up to Riamus to tell you if he owns it or not (he doesn't have to), but I own the Desert outfit and it's cosmetic only; doesn't add any storage space. I asked because of Laz's comment...I was just looking for clarification from someone with the dlc. Even the DLC descriptor is slightly misleading "become the ultimate pack rat'. I am not accusing them of adding "pay to win" items.Or you could just read the store page for the outfits...View attachment 36486
I could see that if it didn't immediately state "It does not affect stats or abilities." Stop reaching.Even the DLC descriptor is slightly misleading "become the ultimate pack rat'. I am not accusing them of adding "pay to win" items.
