Some of them drop blue bags. The charged and infernal zombies for example all drop blue bags. Why don't the new Z's drop blue bags instead of the yellow bags?
That video RipClaw shared is a really good run down of loot bags (the type of loot bag each zombie drops, and what can be found inside them). Loot bags got a lot of updates for 2.0.I was just surprised the yeti and mummy didn't drop blue ones. They have to be harder to kill than the normal Z's or something. Doesn't the lumber Jack in the snow biome drop blue bags?
They really aren't harder to kill, imo. The frostclaw can just be run up to and hit a couple times with melee or you can shoot it and easily dodge the throw. The desert spitter is also easy to run up to and kill.I was just surprised the yeti and mummy didn't drop blue ones. They have to be harder to kill than the normal Z's or something. I had read so much on reddit about both of these enemies before I encountered them myself for the first time; about how they were so annoying and difficult, essentially. This is exactly what I did. I just sprinted straight for them, and 9 times out of 10, especially with the desert (plague? I forgot its name already) spitter, I'd hit them before they could use their ranged ability. Frostclaws mostly the same thing. Sometimes they'd get a rock off, but I'd just wait for it to launch, and then dodge it. I did encounter the Frostclaw tossing a boulder at its own feet many times, injuring itself. I always thought that was amusing. The frostclaw can just be run up to and hit a couple times with melee or you can shoot it and easily dodge the throw. Yeah, it isn't very hard. I do find that running directly at the frostclaw can lead to it slipping the rock on your head, so it can sometimes be better to not run to quickly at it. But either way, it is easy to kill.I had read so much on reddit about both of these enemies before I encountered them myself for the first time; about how they were so annoying and difficult, essentially. Sometimes it's bad to read other people's thoughts. Spitters seemed like some of the weakest to me. And considering that their swarm counts for the Siphoning Strikes perk just like a regular mob, they even seemed very useful to me.I had read so much on reddit about both of these enemies before I encountered them myself for the first time; about how they were so annoying and difficult, essentially. The Frost Claw and Plague Spitter are not that difficult to kill. I use a club for those. I save my bullets for the Dire Wolves and Bears (except the small one).I was just surprised the yeti and mummy didn't drop blue ones. They have to be harder to kill than the normal Z's or something.
