Updated roadmap?

To be honest with you, at this point. I want TFP to go back to the drawing board and figure out how they want to finish this game. Because I am actually now not looking forward to Bandits, if it's as half baked idea of the storm and biome progressions system- I want no part of that.

I've been saying for a long time not to expect a lot from bandits. They are going to be zombies with guns who can take cover and perhaps a few other minor abilities. That is all. Expecting more will just lead to disappointment.

That is my view on it. I could be wrong, and it would be good if I was, but I would rather aim low and be seeing and get something better than expected than to aim high and be disappointed.

Honestly i don´t think they can afford that anymore now. In all regards, not only money but now that they slapped a V1 on the game during early access and there is a roadmap out there where they are already half a year behind with the first big update, people aren´t as patient anymore.

Working on new games already put´s them in a situation with not a lot of flexibility regarding time.

Half-expecting the story to be AI generated as the look of the two new, out of place enemy types were at this point. Too many shortcuts and similarities to other games (especially the "challenges" window); not enough creativity, imo, which is why I've withdrawn my support and recommendation of it. All coding; no heart. Not that it will make much difference, but at least I'll be sparing family and friends yet another woefully repetitive, thoroughly gamified and arcadey experience.

Sorry, Pimps. But you lost me at 1.0.

You're right. I think they are basing the bandit AI off of those negative Steam reviews...😜
Steam (et alia) reviews have become more about review bombing than anything to go by when considering any game. I guess some people just can't resist the urge to head out into the Internet aether on misguided campaigns to save the world...from things that are going have to resolve on their own and in their own good time because they're not conscious, ergo they're not conscientious as human beings are.

Some adore 7 Days in its current iteration and I'm very happy for them. Others won't be able to get behind it for whatever reason. They say ignorance is bliss. I don't agree, but a little selective ignorance goes a long way in maintaining one's own health and wellbeing. Ergo, I ignore the vast majority of both critic and player reviews. I might have said already that's probably why most of us watch a little gameplay before buying (more like leasing) a game these days: so we can assess it for ourselves. I believe I that practice began with me when ME3 came out. I'd never preordered or bought "collector's editions," but -- man -- I wish I'd held off on that one a while.

It's not going to be good, the current modded bandit AI is pretty bad. So for now, just expect nothing
