Ive got a ps5 world that ive got about 200 hours on, played it last night perfectly fine but now every time i try to load into the world it just stays on initializing world. it loads blocks, prefabs etc but the moment it hits initializing world nothing changes, just doesn't load. can join other worlds just not mine. I've tried everything i could think of (closed game, restarted ps5, reconnected internet, deleted and reinstalled, pulled saved data from the cloud) anyone have a fix?

extract your save files and see if the save file structure is the same as it is on linux, then we might be able to do the ttw fix mentioned on the forum that is apparently an issue fixed in the experimental 2.1 release consoles do not have yet.

I am having the same problem. Server wont initialize problem. Its definitely NOT fixed.

I’m in the same boat 480 hours wasted just like it was before 1.0. I don’t get it. Why all of the sudden? This is a #1 fan killer and after all these years of dealing with these errors I think I’m done. Almost bought the dlc too. I’ll poke my head every other month to see if it’s fixed but this was a disappointing blow to my loyalty.

They have identified the fix and will commit it on the next update. Export your save files to thumb drive and hope there is the .ttw.bak that you can rename resolving the issue.

Hhmmpf...I appreciate the update Knoxville...I'm with Jfons, its extremely frustrating and I'm ■■■■ed. All of these people having problems, should not have to wait for an update.

Try exporting your save files. Console cant be that muxh different than pc save files post a list of exported save files found here
