Console Cant join friend

Everytime I accept their invite it just say receive game invite and infinity load
I have waited 30 minutes and nothing happens
Is this a known issue
My Internet is good and we both have upto date games

Was that just happening today? EOS had an outage for a while today. Not sure of the status of it now, but it's probably working again. You could try and see if you're still having problems.

If it is a player hosting the map, they may need to forward ports in their firewall or router or make some other changes to settings to allow access.

Had this happen to me and my wife the other night, if you're on PS5 like we are, completely turn off your system manually by the power button and leave it off for a couple minutes and then turn it back on, you should be able to join the game with no problems.
