It's nonsense that the player doesn't warm himself by the fire. Please Help.

Why is my character cold even with clothes on? How to play in winter so that even at the fire you will still die.

I made winter everywhere on navezgane, but I can’t play in my favorite biome.

Please tell me where in items.XML I can edit the fire heat? It's nonsense that it freezes near the fire, and torches too, and even in clothes.

You cannot play a snow-only map because you can't even complete the snow badge without completing the burnt forest and desert badges first. Your only option if you want a snow-only map is to disable biome hazards.

Certainly agree in principle, but a player could CM in the badges, or is that in the next exp build?

Ok, yes. You can use cm or mods. To clarify: For vanilla without creative menu, you can't. Of course, if you just give yourself the badges, is there any reason to leave hazards enabled since they won't affect you anyhow?

Recall the context was "how to play a snow-only map". It was not "how to avoid biome hazard mechanics".

It was just a simple work around as an alternate to "turn it off". It allows a player to play through the snow biome resistance challenge if they choose.

Why they would choose to do that? Who knows

Who's stopping you from making a bunch of smoothies and drinking them every 5 minutes?

What is it, 5 blueberries per smoothie? Note, "snow-only map"; I doubt you can find 5 blubs before you die on day 1, and am pretty sure you can't keep up with it even if you found a lucky POI with them on the first minute.

Yes, but once you have the badge, the hazards are essentially disabled. So if you give yourself the badge immediately, you might as well just disable the hazards.

As theFlu said, good luck making those before you die.

How to turn off biome danger?

Players approach the game in their own way, with unique goals, preferences, and perspectives on immersion.

I'm not here to min/max or invalidate anyone else's choices or playstyle, I was simply offering an alternative solution.

Too bad there's not a Frostfall mod for 7 Days...that covers all the biome hazards, of course. That level of intricacy and quality is what I'd expect from a professional studio.
