Advanced map generator question

The different colored buildings on the generated maps, are they color coded for POI tiers? I know the red buildings are the traders, but not for sure about the rest of them. Could someone please elaborate on this for me.

If I am understanding correctly, and unless it has changed, I believe it use to be according to
a zoning designation. Like newhouses, oldhouses, downtown. If it has changed I will be corrected
but I think that was the original color coding.

i couldnt find any information at all on what the colours meant so i am super curious as well. i had to suss out myself that red was traders and whites are standalone pois but the rest is as unreadable as hieroglyphs

Not 100% certain without going in-game to verify, but I believe they are:

White = Wilderness POI
Red = Trader
Cyan = Rural
Green = Residential
Blue = Commercial
Yellow = Industrial
Gray = Downtown

I think this is everything except old west. My test map didn't give me any so I don't have the color. Note that remnants are a darker shade of the color indicated. Sorry the colors aren't equal sized. I didn't bother spending time cleaning them up. ;)

As a note, you can easily find this out when generating a map. Zoom in on the preview image once it's generated (before leaving the generation/preview window) and read the text shown. The tiles all have the district name in them, so you'll see something like rwg_tile_rural_corner_01, so you know the POI on that tile are rural. You won't see the edges of the tile, but it should be easy enough to tell which color surrounds the text. You may also see things like driveway parts in certain districts that tell you the district name.

Also note that this is from 1.4. I'm going to assume that 2.0 is the same, but they may have changed something.
