Regional prices

I would like to inform you that the Polish price of 7 Days To Die on Steam is second highest in the world, due to Valve's automatic exchange rate for PLN which is outdated and does not reflect current purchasing power of Polish currency.

There's an awareness campaign about unfair prices called #PolishOurPrices that already resulted in multiple devs lowering their unintentionally unfair prices of games such as Hades 2, Silent Hill 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Starfield, Factorio, No Rest for the Wicked, Selaco, Mullet Mad Jack, Into the Radius 2, Shapez 2, Felvidek, Dusk, and many others (you can ask them for references).

Please, don't rely on Steam's default regional pricing - adjust it for the Polish market! This will encourage Polish gamers to buy your games directly on Steam

The purchasing power of the currency is a political issue. Why are you dragging politics here? The politics and economy of Poland are handled by the government of Poland, elected by the people of Poland, it would be more logical to turn to them.

Either you did not understand what I wrote or you did not read it at all, you are wrong in everything you wrote, less ignorance.

With Poland being in the EU, doesn't it fall under single price model?  Meaning, that TFP can only set one price for the game (and it is adjusted based on regional currencies and local taxes).    I don't think TFP can offer the game at a 50% reduce rate for Poland without offering the same rate decrease for all EU countries...though I may be incorrect on how EU's economy works.

That's not how the EU works. Every country has it's own government and rules, as well as it's own regional internet blocks and pricing.  Also not all countries in the EU are using the Euro but still having their own currency. This matter is something for Steam to deal with and TFP pushing it would be more efective than a few individual players. Steams system of price localisation is not exactly "just convert to local curency" and has nothing to do with local taxes or politics: It is just how Steam thinks what a market would find acceptable or not.

It's like the guy above writes, whether the country is in the EU or not, it doesn't matter.

for years dozens of messages have been sent and no clear response from valve or steam itself.

it's easier to simply come to terms with game creators or publishers, as you can see from the examples I gave in the post, it's possible to negotiate a fair price both with small indie studios and with large publishing corporations

Why was this post transferred to ideas? This is not an idea, but the information combined with a request to fix the mistake, and since it was moved, he saw the post of some administrator, a studio employee and yet I did not get an answer.

Your post is a request. It was not a technical client issue, which was where you posted it originally. It was moved to a more appropriate section for making a request.  Forum moderators aren't going to be giving you an answer on this. It is entirely up to TFP.

Steam does allow for the company to set custom regional pricing, but it then becomes something that they will have to continue to maintain and update. It is also entirely possible that by switching to this kind of pricing model, it will require that they maintain the price for every region their game is sold in. It isn't a "simple" fix that can just be instantly done by flipping a switch somewhere.

That is something for the business side of things, and your request would be better taken by sending an email through the proper channels.
