PC Creative Mode

yeah i noticed that too, but it makes sense on how they did it on the console version, mostly because of the trophy systems would be my guess.

Oh do they really? I only play on consoles with dev/test kits so I'm not too verse on everything. That's kinda cool i guess. I would rather be able to play the games as I wish though, like going in and out of creative mode.

 
If you turn the creative mode on, on the PC, the Steam achievements will be turned off. If you turn it off on the PC, the Steam achievements will be turned on. They could do the same thing with the trophies on the PS5 console.

They won't allow that on either consoles. Trust me we thought about it, but it's a strict rule

No. You can prep for the next trophy in creative and then easy farm your next discount in Sony's loyalty program wich I mentioned yesterday. Sony will never aprove that.

Edit: If you can prep in creative it devaluates the trophy/achievement system so I'm really confused why Steam does allow this.

Honestly it's because Valve doesn't care what you do to have fun unless it's hacking or something nefarious on an online game and achievements are only collectable with no value on Steam. 

 
How does Conan and Ark work on ps5? I think I used them on Xbox in a world and was still able to get achievements I think. I'm not much of achevement hunter so not positive

Yeah we've questioned that ourselves. Only conjecture is they snuck it in without telling them and they didn't notice, or they're a giant enough of companies they were allowed to get by (or get a pass on a certification test that they included it in). For us, they specifically told us they would be testing for it so we would have failed if we allowed it.

ARK is a weird thing, you get them inspite of jumping from vanilla to creative and back. One of the things is their trophy system dates from before the loyalty system and also the vetting system for PS4 was more easy. This is one of the games that got itself on the blacklist for failing requirements almost every patch so now it gets the full certification treatment wich takes too long to allow propper crossplay.
Also map progress carries over between servers and even solo so it is realy hard to sepperate wich part of explorer trophies is done vanilla and wich part was "cheated".

 
It would be great to have full creative like PC and I'm fine if achievements are off. I only have the kill other players and die a bunch of times to unlock. Someday I will get the die enough times but won't ever get the killing friends ones...

Is V2 going to add any like kill the new glowing one's or melt from radiation? 

 
I played both evolved and ascended, was pretty ticked off about ascended, after buying it just to find out that it's the same thing other than just better graphics on ascended. Was reading the other day that a DLC they either released or are going to release caught a bunch of crap from the public.

Haven't played ARK in about 6-9 months roughly

 
Only played ascended as it went game pass. Taming improved with icon and baby's but until Ark 2 its just more of the same, and a cash grab. If anything it makes me not want to pre order the next one they make, by then Enshrouded, Nightngale and first dwarf will be out on consoles, heck maybe we will have bandits

 
Yeah at first ark was fun, but then it got old fast, build a base, tame some dinosaurs and so on, then there was really nothing to do. And on ascended, it was kind of nice with being able to get and have mods. But even still it would get boring fast lol
