Anyone else having issues with their pings hitting 30,000+ out of nowhere on during a cross play session??

It's happened a couple of times now and my friends and I are dumbfounded lol just now we were running an infested mission and my ping hit 27,241 and continued to rise forcing us to completely exit the game and now every time we log back on it's the same 😂 this is the third time it's happened and was just wondering if anyone else has this issue we're all on console btw

Same happens to me and my wife. We are playing together on our 21. day ingame. When she connects there is a huge lag, which prevents us from playing together.

When she connects after several minutes of waiting, i see the arrow on the radar and she is in the party list but no character is shown in the world. She sees me and can move but the sounds are ca 20 seconds late. I am hosting on series X, she connects from series S. We had minor problems till day 21, but now we cannot play together anymore. Checked the connection to the provider, NAT is open, ports are forwarded, every other game is fine. Tried with wifi and cable connection, no difference. Party tab ingame shows ping numbers of 10000 and above.

What can i do to improve? I have no clue and very sad

A ping spiking like that usually means the system is overloaded or bad networking (if port forwarding was done).

I'm figuring your wife and you play in tbe same house? Try turning the network work around option on in the General settings tab

Thank you very much for your response. Fingers crossed that this will improve as fast as possible. But i might be on to something right now, at least for me/us but maybe for others too. I am testing a lot because this is one of the few games my wife likes to play with me in multiplayer.

Here are the things i did to improve.

Teredo filter of in my router
UPnP on in the router for both xboxes
Priority data handling on for both xboxes in the router

Motion blur on for both ingame
Max players set to two
Crossplay off in the options for both and in server options
Activated network workaround for both ingame options

With all that, my wife could connect today and we finished the whole day 21 and 22 without the big issues.
