Hello, all my past ideas ill put on hold and go through them eventually but today i was thinking about airdrops.

The way it is now airdrops come at noon every day...

to me that needs to be ramdom so players cant set the timer of airdrops and know when they are coming....

I think that sounds like a great idea.

Airdrops should be gated behind players building a radio/ radio tower / beacon.  Maybe a few unmarked random ones early game and then mid game is call in only.


I like this option. I also I like it as a kind of map-wide mission.

 
something else that would be good is to add a despawn timer on air drops...

-they build up across the map creating more entitys that server has to keep track of

cluttering the map. 

my opinion is when a new air drop is spawned the game should check if any air drops are currently on the map and remove them before dropping the new one.

That's a good idea. Make something like a disposable radio beacon that would be a rare catch. And only when it is used should a plane with cargo appear.
