So they made it cartoony?  Really?  I thought it was using many of the same assets as this game.  This looks even worse than I had thought, and I was already not interested in it.  Oh well.  There will be people who like it, I'm sure.

They do but it's basically a filter

And personally im.not interested.  But I still wanted to make a forum

I'm not much of a weapon enthusiast, but holy hell are those designs dysfunctional. Toy gun trigger going into the magazine of that pistol. And all the other nerf gun parts being used... Screws on a bat, sunk entirely into the bat offering basically nothing.. A belt _buckle_ wrapped around the handle of the sledge.. geez.

Thanks for the momentary entertainment, but I'll keep my money. :)

Yeah, I don't know who decided this Borderlands looking filter crap was needed but it's really putting me off of this game. I wasn't super interested anyway unless I could talk some buddies into getting it, but it just looks silly.

Remember, TFP is not developing the game. They are only supplying/supporting the engine. Illogicka is making the game, so eventually it will most likely be supported on their forum/Discord.

I know but sense we Don't really have a place too see everything.  I though the home of 7dtd would be nice

It's a shame we won't get much stuff from bloodmoons into the base game of 7dtd

As a gun nut

Yeah in hate some of them like the pistol but I understand they wanna be creative..

I do like how the shell Is a plastic toy gun I've seen people do that with like plastic nerf guns.. even though it can be illegal if you bring it in a place pretending it's a toy gun.

I love the driller smg it looks like a ludy smg

Huge mistake by them,

first off this seems like a bad idea born out of somebodys head that has never playd pvp in 7d2d, or maybe thier thought of how pvp should be playd.

w/e the case in 7d2d pvp its about raiding, killing other players and feuds that go on for years.

What they have here to me seems more like an event not a game.

Idk it seems more pve aside from the player controlled zombies.. it's not like a death match or anything

Since I'm only seeing snaps, I just look at what is. The colorization reminded me of Fortnite until bdubyah mentioned Borderlands.

But it follows the commercial trend of Japanese anime. That's the flavor at the moment. The game feeling from visuals reminds
me of GnaMod "protect the beacon" but with a human controller.

Logically Illogicka doesn't have to build an entire data structure so it cuts down on developmental time. Terrain seems to be standard

pregen with custom pois. Models are provided by TFP. Building tools, and reputation also provided by TFP. If a learning ai is eventually

used, based on player telemetry it could expand it, maybe. Some games have a repeated horde mode, like Zombie Army as an example.

This one replaces the computer controller with a human.

So, if you kind of piggy back on reputation, make a game just different enough to not be considered a clone, and produce it in the present

popular media format, and don't have to start from scratch, It could be a profitable business model. Produced in a short span of time. This

business model is not that much different from what other games are doing with variable success.      I say go Canada and good luck.

Here is a link to their projects page in case you are curious.

The cell shading was a surprise to me too. I will say that those still shots don't really do it justice tbh. It looks a lot better when everything is in motion. But still, if someone doesn't like that art style then they don't.

Idk from the gameplay it was very laggy

I kind of understand it more from the video. It's like what I do in nomadic play, you are just shoring

up armorments. How long is the game play in total? Because a day passed in like 5 minutes. Why did the

texture filter keep disappearing from the guys with the hard hats? Does it have more maps or just that

one?

Because of it's format, I could see it as a portable. I mean if they take advantage of not needing as much post processing, or shadow rendering
and shrink the models. It could possibly make a playable lundhtime dustup. Mainly I see it that way because it's more action based and not detail

oriented. Plus it opens up a market beyond the the parent game. Using the uv filters and interpolation to their advantage, it could actually spawn

a min series of controlled environment scenarios. Like the old zombiehorde from the beginning. Basically a 7DTD  reboot.
