PC Achievements?

Long time player, but wanted to go back and do some of the achievements from Steam that I had not finished yet - namely two of the hidden ones.

I have been attempting these on a fresh playthrough, no mods, no creative and they have not triggered. Was wondering if there might be something I'm missing or if achievements got broken again in v1.x?

I forget which ones are hidden, but I think one is The Polar Bare Club.  You need to get cold without wearing anything in the snow.  If I remember correctly, getting soaking wet (go swimming) without any armor on will do it.  Another harder one to figure out is the Dirty Larry achievement, where you have to kill 44 of the zombies with the green hoodie (not always green anymore, I don't think) using a .44 Magnum.

The others aren't too hard to get accidentally.  But if these are not the achievements you're missing and you are not sure which ones are missing, you can show you achievements and someone can tell you.

Probably just different.  Those are (or at least were) hidden for Steam.

There's some way you have to do it and I completed this long ago, so can't be sure now.  It might require the "blizzard" weather effect at the same time.  Or you already have that achievement and didn't realize you got it.  It should still be possible to get in 1.x as the temporary protection against weather that is in 1.x is in the armor, so not having anything on would mean no protection.

Question? Does console game, have the equivalent of the F1 console cmd window.

If so you can try to go to the winter biome, If there is a console window, open it and

type      weather wind 90 or just set it to 100. After the test just log off the n one and it

will reset to default weather. Since I constantly adjust the weather and environment variables

from default, I found that for now if wind is above a certain speed it overrides the armor, and

I can get the frosty overlay. If not sorry.

I know I did that in the snow, with it showing I was entirely frozen and 100% wet with nothing on.  Should work still. 

And the other one, I don't remember that I got it from that specific zombie, but that is what I saw when I looked it up when I replied.  They all say "punk", which is that skateboarder zombie, I believe.

From what someone said before, they can see the console but cannot run commands. 

That made me do some research. There may be a bit of an involved work around. If it 

works it could help in certain instances. "PS Remote Play" supposedly if you temporarily

pair your controller/game by bluetooth to you phone. To set up PS Remote Play, users can:

Mac, PC, smartphone, PS Vita, or PS TV. Users can use a DualSense, DualSense Edge, or

DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller to play. If the game supports hardware keyboards, users

1. Go to Settings > System > Remote Play on their PS5 console
   
2. Turn on Enable Remote Play
   
3. Launch the PS Remote Play app on their device
   
4. Select Sign In to PSN
   

I realize that even if it does work, most people would not want to go through all of that  just

to be able to type. But seeing the above  as a potentially larger set of circumstances that may

need a resolution. This is the closest help I could find. Also if it does work It could expand the

potential flexibility and limitations for console players.

The easier solution is to connect mouse and keyboard to your system. Works for ARK and others. Unless 7d2d just does not allow command line input at all for consoles, but the the remote acces way would also not work.

From what it sounded like, it is disabled on console, so I don't think using some kind of input method would work.  I think Sony/Microsoft consider it to be too much like modding or something, but that's just a guess.  And, again, I have no way to verify it's even true.  That's just what I saw someone post a while back.
