Can you change the color of light in the Xbox series version?

Hi just curious if we can take the extra step and change the lighting in the vanilla game. I have a lot of cool ideas and would like to customize my house up the wazoo. Also can you turn on OPEN neon signs? I have it hooked up to the generator but it doesn’t want to turn on purple. Im actually gonna use the neon sign as my colored light and then cover it with a cloth lol since for now I don’t know if we can color lights

Unless it works differently in XBox, which is unlikely, you cannot turn on the neon sign and you cannot change light colors within the game.  If you had access to the POI Editor (which I assume won't be available for console), you could create a custom POI that uses a neon sign that is turned on and you can change light colors and intensity, but you'd then have to place that POI on your map.  You can't actually build it that way in the game.  If you were on PC, you could also use a mod that lets you turn on and off all lights in the game, which would include the neon sign.  But the latest version of that mod doesn't let you change colors or intensity even on PC.
