PC Could somebody please explain the stamina effect on armour?

That's one meticulously filled roach, you a taxidermist or something? :)

Thanks for the suffering!

Oh, I could have done much much more, as a slightly autistic coder of many years, I always fear I haven't fully explained every last detail to the nth degree. You should see my git logs! :D

Oh.. and.. my OCD brain also gets annoyed that I used [ B ] in the text and it converted it to a formatting code and set all the text to bold, and I am unable to edit the original post.

man, what language you code in? If you're an OCD js dev, you're one in a million 😀. worst code I saw in 10 years is always spaghetti in js 😁

Believe it or not, at last count 18 languages. Some of them esoteric, and they are scattered all over the stack.

I am a js coder, but my code style is... interesting.

In regard to this bug report, those who have reported bugs before how does the process work?

Do you monitor the bug thread, and see if any devs reply?

Is there an open bug tracker where you can see raised tickets (and thus see if your "bug" is being worked on)?

..or do you just wait until the next patch notes come out, with your fingers crossed?

There's a list of known issues ( that you should've read already before filling yours.. ;) ) Link somewhere in the reporting instructions. Beyond that, QA might ask something, the bug might get moved around in the bug pool categories; but the process isn't "officially public" in any way that I'm aware of.

I checked the other reported bugs on the forum, I didn't realise they had this public excel sheet. I checked that too, although as a dev, that's possibly the worst way to present an existing bug list. It seems that stamina is only referenced in relation to the bike, so I'm guessing nobody has noticed/reported his bug?

Yeh, it's not great; the whole forum-software as a bug frontend is a little offputting. But as long as they want a hidden process, I guess it gets the job done.

I don't know when I first was aware of it, but I've mentally filed it under "stuff that's just broken on the UI and will get an overhaul before leaving alpha anyway". As in, they have to know of it; that's what it does, it's there to show weird values... :)

maybe someone already thought of an import tool phpbb->jira ? And they just shuffle the lists here for public reference

* bump *

Any movement on this.

The problem remains in v1.2 (stable)

The bug report doesn't look like it's been touched since it was initially posted (I appreciate that time/resources are limited but an indication of whether a bug is being looked at - or will be looked at in the future - would be very useful, imo)

I have published a little web tool for making armor builds.

..and it's frustrating me not knowing exactly how to work out the stamina properly.

(ps: yes Broccoli Clock is my gaming alias, I hope the mods don't get annoyed at me having two accounts on here, the BC one will specifically be to do with web based tools/content though, not for general chat).

From the forum rules:

Only one account per person is allowed; duplicate accounts will be deleted.

While I appreciate why that would be the case, as it stops sock-puppet accounts and random flaming, but in this circumstance I hope there is a bit of wiggle room as you can see the justification for two accounts.

If it's a hard and fast limit by the mods then I'll just pass the BC account over to my brother, who doesn't have an account on here, but he could post as my proxy.

Even the nominal values have bugs in the xml. They have entered the values by hand, as you can easily verify by collecting them: Here and there a digit is missing that changes the value by 20...30%. To be on the safe side, you have to write a mod script putting all values to the correct point according to the scheme.

You can easily deduce where all the time of the developers is sunken into when you spot those errors from manual editing :D

I understand how the devs could reach that point, but it's really frustrating. It makes me think the 1.0 push was specifically just to get the game out on console rather than them tying up all the loose ends. There seems to be many little inconsistencies, nothing game breaking, and overall the game is running fine.
