PC Vehicles affected by running

Pretty much title. I play on PS5 and I noticed that if I click the stick to run then get on my bike/motorbike my speed is drastically increased. On the bike it kinda makes sense, like your pedaling faster. On a motor vehicle it doesn't. It is kinda funny to hear the high pitched buzz of the motor though LOL

 
Since 1.0 if you have run going you go faster and use more gas. Since 1.1 I like that you can turn it on and off while driving. Flip side since 1.1 the map re greys out explored areas when I'm in my buddy's world

 
Run in vehicles is boost mode now.  So you go faster regardless of the vehicle.  For bikes, you use up stamina faster (but you travel faster than zombies so great for getting out of a tricky situation) while motorized vehicles use more gas.  I can't remember when this was changed (which Alpha) but we have had it for some time now on the PC.

Not sure if console every got this function in the TTG version.

We got it in 1.0, at least on PS5
