PC Zombie Spawn Rate on Console

Playing on Xbox Series X. Is there a way to increase or decrease the amount of Zombies that spawn in the world?

There is a setting that let's you change the spawn rate on blood moons specifically, but does that setting also affect the normal spawn rate on any given day?

Right now, wandering hordes spawn with about 8 zombies I believe. Any way to increase that size to say 16 or more? Does the amount increase if you play on a higher difficulty? I know it will affect performance big time and the console hardware is barely handling the base game right now.

Just curious how many zombies others are seeing right now based on the difficulty level they play on. I'm playing on 'Nomad' level and seeing about 8 zombies in roaming hordes. Wondering if I switch to Warrior or Survivalist will I see more. Thx.

Hiya. Love that profile pic lol. So, spawn rates are capped at 64 zombies, but it's a lot more dynamic than that. Wandering horde sizes and biome spawn counts (well, and POI's too) depends on quite a few factors. Mostly, you're looking at the biome difficulty and your gamestage -- both will denote how many zombies are sent via wandering hordes and whatnot. The forest biome is considered the "noob biome" and, although eventually you will start seeing bigger hordes, won't be near as big as, say, in the snow or wasteland biomes. In fact, once you've upped your gamestage a little bit the wastelands will be pretty much a horde night all day and night constantly (they just won't know where you're at constantly).

Get the game stage high enough hang out in wasteland kill zombies all night every night, during the day just pull out a auger and spin a few times to bring more
