Humble requests from a Peasant regarding end game base exploits

Dear FunPimps,
                             In the next update may we please have EMP zombies?? A simple pop and all electronics and turrets gadgets and HUD stop for 30 secs. If I may be so bold...may we also have RAGE zombies that roars every 30 secs that gives all zombies around it 300% block damage for 5 secs?? 

            On another note..can we have a tranq dart? Or some way to bait or trap the animals of your world to build Zoos? Where I can keep an house Zombies in boxes like The Colector in Marvel? thank you for your time.

They have said no to animal husbandry (that would include making a zoo with animals).  You can make a zoo POI but animals will break out if they notice you.  EMP would just be annoying and not a good option for the game.

Btw, although this post has a title that somewhat mentions what you're talking about (though this isn't really about actual exploits.... using electronic traps, even in large numbers, isn't an exploit), you have others that don't say anything about what you're talking about.  Please use titles that let others know what the post is about.  Having multiple posts with the same title that don't say what it is about is a pain when trying to see what you want to look at or to find a specific post you want to see.  EDIT: After reading those, they are the same posts as these others.  If you want to edit a title, just edit your post.  Don't repost.

They have said no to animal husbandry (that would include making a zoo with animals).  You can make a zoo POI but animals will break out if they notice you.  EMP would just be annoying and not a good option for the game.

Okay I understand and I'll try to make post that make more sense. What i ment by exploit is how to solve the problem of....10 people should be able to play this game and come up with 10 ideas on bases and strategies. Some will be better then others, but it still show creativity...but we have the AI work in a way that now hamster wheel bases are pretty much what you will get. I'm not trying to hate. At all I think some of those are ingenious. I just think Funpimps want people to let thier imaginations fly. So the EMP Zed could be a demo zombie but with a transformer stuck in his chest that if activated would shut all power down. Just for 10 secs. The rage zombies could answer blender bases. Just suggestions I figured maybe the wonder people who made this game might read it you never know. 

Also I think having the ability to have chickens and pigs and deer would be awesome. Just give them a heat value like forges. You have the making of an awesome farm simulation. Why not expand the idea of raising livestock for food milk? Not o mention you know how long people would play Just to make a farm?

Almost all traps are electronic.  The only way they could add an EMP zombie is to have many more non-electronic traps that are useful.  For example, spikes do have uses, but aren't really what you want to use as a main defense in horde night.  Having all electronic traps get disabled repeatedly during horde night without other non-electronic traps that have similar "power" isn't a good thing and I'm guessing that most players would start using a mod to remove that right away if it was added.  Now, I do think we could use more traps, including non-electrical traps.  But as it is now, EMP would just be too annoying.  Just my opinion, of course.

You could probably do these as a mod if you really wanted them.

Well I'm a Peasant on console so I can only raise my meager voice and ask with humility I totally understand what you mean about meat and i see the logical flow of your looking glass...I'm primarily focused on the "fun" part of breeding and having a farm. I totally understand it's the End of he World and farmer John better get with the program   my other half loves animals and palworld and she just dies of cuteness for the bears and deer and rabbits and don't want to kill them. She wants to save them from the zombies. So I figured I got to people themselves and ask in love for the farmers life

Ive seen numerous posts lately saying they were reconsidering SOME of the animal farming elements, primarily the chickens. 
It truly doesn’t matter how “easy” something is, the point of many suggestions is to add some variety in the way you play. Not everyone wants to have a cookie cutter version of the game, just because there may be a way to cheese or sweat the game. There are many of us that want to have a relaxed game with friends, or even roleplay with others.

If YOU choose to do it one way, don’t force it on everyone else and try to shoot down ideas just because there is already one method in the game.

Things like glue in the game are an example that there are ways to add diversity of play. 
If you don’t know what I mean by that, think about the item “glue”. You can:

- Buy it

- Get it as a reward

- Scavenge it

- Make it with bones

- Make it with Supercorn

A lot of different playstyles can obtain this item through different methods. That is what we are looking for in more situations!!!

I see im not alone on the treacherous path..One love my brother somsomebody with power will see it I know all games are made on PC first. I'm not complaining im just thankful that we made it thank you FunPimps! BTW..Trader Rekt makes my wife heart or so she says so she refuses to use him lol I die laughing all the time

Sure. And we are just old forum users who already have seen discussions about those features and also replies by TFP what their opinion is. Sure, they always could change their minds on something, but for some topics we can say with a bit of confidence that there is no hope, and on other topics it would at least be useful for you to know WHY they didn't implement that feature.

Why even mention that you are playing on console? The topic is EMP zombies and a few other ideas and I don't see why the platform you are playing on has anything to do with it. Unless you want to play the "harmless victim of the vile forum users" card

Nobody here except TFP can shoot down ideas. But this is a forum, other players can comment on anyone's idea.

This is not because we have a PC, this is because we are on this forum for years and have seen these discussions and arguments already many times. Do you really think you are the first one to suggest those ideas?

Just as a note, this is the PC section of the forum, so people are going to respond with the idea that you're using PC and will often suggest mods.  I don't know why they haven't expanded the console section to include its own Pimp Dreams of General Support forums.  I would suggest that if you're making suggestions when you're using console that you mention that in the OP so people aren't recommending mods.  Saves time for everyone.    Of course, meganoth suggested not mentioning console, so whatever works.  Heh.  In any case, the game has a relatively small roadmap before gold and anything not on it isn't likely to happen unless it's very quick to implement or fixes a problem that needs fixed (not referring to bugs, but to just gameplay problems).  Some things could be added as DLC after gold and that's where you'll have the better chance of seeing suggestions added.

Anyhow, nothing wrong with posting suggestions.  I was just passing on the info that the devs have said so you're not getting your hopes up.  If console users are lucky, server side mods will still work for console players once cross play is available even if they can't use regular mods.  That won't help with everything console users want, but it'll be at least something.

That's awesome I understand you guys have seen alot and that makes more sense. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I just crawled out of version 13 version 1 is kinda blowing my mind and now all I can think about is the sky is the limit with this game.

Console users are always limited in options that PC get when mods are an option because consoles normally didn't allow mods if it isn't their own game or the mod isn't developed by the game developer.  That's a normal limitation.  But late in the development cycle won't get you much changed because they have a set plan already and are looking at finishing the game and working on their new game (not yet announced, but they mentioned they are starting it with a separate group of devs).

As I said either here or another thread from the OP, the best suggestions you can make right now that have a chance to be added are ones that are very quick or that fix an actual problem.  Something that is just "nice" would go at the bottom of their list of priorities.  At least until DLC are released after gold.  Any suggestions are fine, of course.  Just expect that people who have been playing on PC for a long time may have a different opinion of what is worth adding.

Don't expect rentable server to come from TFP though. It will just be like now with independent game server companies offering rentable servers, with the only difference that console players can rent those server or join as well.
