Navegane Athletic Complex T6 Quest would not complete

I had that same aggravating issue where the last Zs won't spawn while doing the Athletic Complex on a T6 quest.  I ran around trying find a switch or whatever to try to get them to spawn but could not find anything.  I then tried the console command 'sleeper r', which did spawn Zs, but after killing them AGAIN, the yellow dot was still there.  I tried this 4 times but it never worked.  I finally had to go to the Creative Menu and use the 'complete quest' ticket.

It's a shame that this issue is still a thing.

I've done the Athletic's Complex twice now -- always get good loot out of it, like augers and auto-shotguns. Can I ask where the yellow dot is for you...?

Of course.  I happened to take a screenshot of it:

I went down into that hole there with no luck.

Hmm, definitely seems like a bug. Anytime I've done this POI, that pit acts like a trigger zone, so any zombie there wakes and tries to find me. I can't tell based on your weaponry, but if you are rolling around in high-quality assassin armor, you're too quiet to wake hidden zombies. If that's the case, take off all your armor and make noise. If they still don't spawn/wake, it's likely a bug that you should report.

In the meantime, you can also try opening the console (F1) and going into debug mode (type 'dm') and entering the command 'killall'. This should kill all spawned zombies in the chunk. The caveat here is spawned zombies. If they aren't spawned, I don't think they can be killed off with that command. Hopefully this makes it so you can at least complete the quest (though if you turned off the game since posting this, the question would be reset anyways). Best of luck!

p.s. If you do go into debug mode, make sure to turn it back off (just type 'dm' in the console again) when you're done.

I cleared this POI in a infestation quest last weekend in full assassin armor. Worked as intended.  If I have problems with a zombie not spawning I use my auger to make some noise. This also works when I'm wearing the full armor.

The only POI I had this type of bug was the Grover High POI. Two time a zombie wouldn't spawn despite my best efforts. It was both times at the exact same location.

Or stand up; you only get stealth when you are crouching. There's no need to take off the armor.

Yeah, I'm playing with some assassin armor, but I have seen other players who have missed zombies because they were too quiet with a full armor set 😆

Figured that might be the case here, but from my experience in this POI, that pit was an auto-trigger so being stealthy wouldn't matter.

This can sometimes happen if the map you're playing on predates some incrimental update. Happened to me and a lot of other people on the Pop'n'Pills Factory, making the POI uncompletable because the maps predated an update. In that case we had to destroy a switch on the wall that we couldn't interact with - hammering through the door to get to the yellow dot didn't do anything. There was an update in the last few weeks to V.01 which said it made changes to a bunch of POIs and you had to start a new map to avoid problems.

I was not wearing assassin armor.  I had a strength build going so I was making plenty of noise.

I know of a console command: 'sleeper r', which respawns Zs in the chunk.  I used this when the same thing happened to me doing Grover High.  It respawns the Zs and then you can use the 'killall' command, since you've already killed them once.  That worked at Grover High.  It didn't work at this POI.

Regarding the version, I'm running 1.0 B336, but I might have had a playthrough in progress when I updated so maybe that was the issue.  I've moved on so it's a moot point now so we'll see what happens moving forward.

Thanks all.

There is a known bug with POI that use the new Min Script option for zombie volumes, which is the problem for some people in Grover High.  I don't know if that is used in this POI, but if it is, that's probably the cause.  The issue comes from letting a zombie spawned with that Min Script to despawn, which can happen if you're getting swarmed and decide to run away a ways so they can't find you or if you are using stealth to make them lose track of you and don't go back to kill them before they despawn.  The "fix" until they release a bugfix for it is to make sure you're killing everything without letting it wander off or despawn.

I had this problem with this P.O.I the solution was to go to where the yellow dot is and dig the zombies seem to spawn in the terrain here once i "dug" them up i could complete the quest
