Savegame does not load

On PS5. All of the sudden my game does not load. After the loading screen i press the button to appear in the game. I hear the sound of my forge but the screen stays in the loading screen. Waited for 30 min, tried several times. I am 200h in. Had to buy the game 2 times and now this ? Wtf fun pimps. 

 
Update. My friend can enter the game while i am stuck in the loading screen. For him i was invisible but my weapon was floating in my base. So i went back to settings and turned on friendly fire. When i loaded again he killed me and i actually respawned and left the loading screen. The only weird thing was that it did not give me the option to spawn at my backpack, instead gave me 2 times the option to spawn at my bed. But at least i spawned and was back in the game.

I then quitted the game to check if i can also play alone again but again was stuck so we repeated to process, then removed all beds, placed new ones, quit and reload again and now it seems to work. What a messed up @%$#. What a shame to release a product in this state. No backup save files, no option to repair savegames. Maybe fun pimps should take a look at GROUNDED on how to do this properly. In total i payed 70 € for a game that does not work properly for years. Good job, not.

If I give you my PSN nick, can you help me with this, please? I play singleplayer and i am the only one who have the game 

 
I had this happen on Xbox X after the B336 update. I created a B336 thread day one after I was happy with update, came back day two after this happened and my thread got moved to B336 update fixed the game breaking bug about turning zombies off. Which had nothing to do with what I talked about in my thread...

We were able to get the world to work after buddy started his single player game quit then loaded online world. Before that we both restated several times and kept having him stuck on load screen while I could play fine, he was a ghost with just a name and pick ax on my screen. 

I recommend that you try loading a single player map then try again, hopefully this thread does not get moved to thread about game is fixed after b336 update...

 
It happens again and again. Switching to offline game does not help. Now i always have to wait for a friend to jpin and kill me so that i can respawn. Never experienced such crap. Fix your damn game. Wtf

 
Another day of having this issue, seems it's every other time I play with one buddy. We can eventually play but it takes restarting Xbox, smashing hosts bag then restarting again... please fix

 
Anyone else having issues to where the game refuses to load into your save after hitting spawn and  some times i can hear my garage doors open and close but after that it will not move past that screen we have tried for a wee on one save it refuses to load i have created a new save and it did it after some time as well so has my fathers game its making it super unplayable or irratating to have to start completely over it seems like starting with zombies on or turning them on causes it after awhile if the save is started without them on it loads instantly and has no issues but what good is a zombie game without zombies on and having to restart a new save every time it messes up is just really off putting 

 
Moin, habe das selbe Problem! Ich spiele auf der PS5. Wenn ich das Spiel starte komme ich nur bis zum Bildschirm wo steht "erscheinen" klicke drauf, höre wie mein lagerfeuer im Hintergrund knistert aber reinladen macht er nicht. Habe dann man einen Charakter Wechsel gemacht, hat funktioniert! Aber nur einmal, gestern kam ich wieder nicht in mein game. Traurig bei tag 101 neu anfangen zu müssen! 

 
tbh i read some of that it wont let me transleate the rest for some reason my germans rough havent used it in a good while but im hoping they figure it out somehow i tried everything and it drives me insane 


 
Hello, I have the same problem! I play on the PS5. When I start the game, I only get to the screen where it says "appear". I click on it, hear my campfire crackling in the background but it doesn't load. Then I changed characters and that worked! But only once. Yesterday I couldn't get into my game again. Sad to have to start again on day 101!

Thanky knowing half the paragraph and struggling on the res was kinda rough lol and Yea ik what u mean i have learned tho nomatter what bud if u stay out of ur base when u quit u can load back in for a longer period of time when u hit spwan hold ur thumbsticks to on directions just stay put of ur base apon quitring make sure u archive the save before making a new one so if they fix it ull have it. It Will lag super bad and may freeze a min but it will load each time or every other time if u can manage to get back into ur save i have tried deleting my game save off the console resyncing tried it on 3 seperate consoles it wont load or anything i have another save i figured out to stay away from the base when i was in the base i faught and got it to load one last time then left the base and tried it but its giving me further issues as more time went on im thinking between zombies spawning and the base rendering and stuff its too much for it

Excuse my poor english i have spell check off lol and i type to fast 

 
The last update to b337 should have fixed the issues around turning zombies off and on. When on after being off the game was unplayable. However now in multiplayer worlds the host can't load after clicking spawn. I and others have found some work around and it's in another thread that fell off the fist page in the forum.

Best fix seems to be load another world ideally a single player not online. You can also have a friend join game and smash the hosts bed then restarting. I have heard archiving the world then pulling it back out works. Sometimes restating everything helps. Either way it's a very annoying bug that hopefully the moderators are passing on to QA to fix...

I have tried deleting my game and reinstalling it. I have tried loading other saves then going back to the other one i have archived it a bunch of times. I have tried syncing to 3 seperate consols and join other peoples games and all kinds of stuff like turning the lobby to single player only reverting all setting to default loading into other apps or games then quit to try togl get into my save after it all loads up id try the bed thing but how can i get into the game to try it nothing seems to be working the only reason i say it seems to revolve around zombies is cuz i have another save that has never had them on in the first place it loads quit and fine with zero issues if i stay out of my base on my new one with zombies on it lags really bad loading in but its loads none the less if i quit in my base my save will never load again any other suggestions u may have im open to try because i have to be able to get into the save again to try anything else or move out of the middle of my base so i have a chance.

I did figure out that u can get ur game to free up with the help of a friend or second profile while ur games stuck in the spawn screen have a friend come in and use a vehicle and push against where ur charaters standing it will force the game to load ur screen un due to the change in stuff around including ur friend moving around after that just dont save inside ur base at all for some reason it causes it to not load 

 
I’m having a similar issue where I was driving the motorcycle and fell through the world which I know is a common issue but after that happened it crashed and now the game just won’t start. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it twice, and I’ve played on a different account on the same Xbox to try and reset the save data but it still won’t load. All that happens when I click the game is that it stays as a fully gray screen as if it’s trying to start losing but it never does anything.
