Intermittent flickering black artifacts in game

Hello,

I am encountering an issue where black or occasionally white effects appear on the screen. They appear for less than a second but occur quite frequently, causing a flickering effect. I could not reproduce this issue intentionally; it happens at random moments, regardless of my location on the map.

PC Specs:

Windows 11 23H2 (All updates and drivers are installed)
RTX 4070 12GB (Driver 560.70. Reinstalling did not help)
I5-14600KF
RAM DDR5 32GB 6000MHz
SSD Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB (The game is installed on it)

Graphics settings are set to ultra. Blur was toggled on and off during testing. Screen resolution is 1920x1080 at 240Hz. Vertical sync is disabled.

The game runs with EAC enabled. I play on a server hosted on another device within the local network. Three other people who play with me do not experience this issue. Reinstalling the game and deleting the downloaded world did not help.

Could you please advise whether this issue is likely software-related rather than hardware-related? It doesn't seem like GPU artifacts, and this does not occur in other games, including those on Unity.

I am creating a thread in this section because I am not sure if this issue is a game bug. If I am mistaken, please let me know.

Thank you for your assistance.

UPD: For the test, I uninstalled the video driver using DDU and reinstalled it, but the problem remained. Here are two more screenshots taken a few minutes apart. After that, the problem didn't reoccur for about 10 minutes, but then it came back again. https://imgur.com/a/sAVYOFr

I wonder if it's related to this from your logs.
"2024-08-03T03:03:18 11922.244 WRN [EOS] [LogEOSRTC - Warning] RTCAudio StartRendering too big sample rate '192000'. Will be restricted to '48000'. LocalProductUserId=[000...be8] RoomName=[conf+1407502250]"
Try setting your default sample rate to 48000 in whatever sound device that is you're using.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try it

I tried setting the sample rate to 48000 Hz, and since then, i haven't observed the issue. I can't guarantee that the problem is completely resolved, as it appeared randomly, and it might just be that it hasn't shown up due to coincidence. However, i am hopeful. I will keep an eye on the situation and let you know if the issue returns. Thank you!

I'm also curious how such a simple setting as changing the sample rate can cause such artifacts in the game. For curiosity's sake, a friend of mine set the rate to 192000 Hz, and he doesn't experience the same issue.

Dunno, but audio has had the ability to glitch graphics since the stone ages. Something about taking over the buss with it's own interrupts or some such.
