I can't create a new world and join any - Error type: "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an objec" and "ERR [XUi] Err

Hello. 
Since yesterday, I can't either create any new worlds/characters or join any of my friends worlds. Tried pretty much everything that's out there too? Uninstalling the game completely, deleting the %appdata% folder of the game, using the tool's launcher, verified integrity of game files, etc. Please help, I just want to play the game.

Seems to be a player profile problem.  Have the host/server delete your profile.  They will then have to give you back items and levels.

There is also a sharing violation on the profile file, which may relate to why you're is messed up.  One possible reason for this is not telling your antivirus to not scan your game folder and saves folder.

If this is affecting your own single player games, then you will have to delete the profile.
