Hallo

Whenever i try to load a saved game, when it gets to creating player the console opens and starts repeating EXC indexoutofrange.

i tried to start a new game but the same thing happens..

allso when i go to options and player profile the console opens and i get one line saying EXC indexoutofrangeexception index was outside the bounds of the array.

i cant figure out whats wrong.

The problem seems to be your player file. And since you get the problem even when you start a new game I would suggest to completely delete your player information:

Start the game launcher, go to the tools tab, select the last option. At a minimum clean your character profile. If you still have problems, delete everything else too.

You will start as lvl1 player again, but in the console you can use "giveselfxp" to get back some levels and in creative menue you can get back equipment you already had.

 
i tried deleting player profile, it didnt work

tried deleting everything under game data, didnt work.

uninstaled the game and reinstalled it, didnt work

deleted game files inlcuding the ones under user - appdata - 7days and reinstalled the game. still not working...

 
Where did you find the option to do this? I've run into the same issue to the point that I get the same error when trying to access the player profile list in options. I've spent 8 hours trying to get into the game even just 1 time!

See meganoth's response in this thread on 6/17/2022.

To start the game launcher, go into Steam library and hit the play button for 7 days to die.  You should see a popup asking to start the game normally or to start the game launcher
