You can't pledge for 7D2D.

According to the Kickstarter page, the funding period was Jul 16 2013 - Aug 15 2013. The way you fund the game now is to buy early access, e.g. on Steam.

and now I'm wondering if there really was some big mommy who contributed 5000$ and so got her own zombie likeness

Ah, I just saw that one of the founders of the game worked on Duke Nukem Forever.

I guess that explains why 7D2D is still in Alpha!

Assuming similar development times, another 5 years left until gold?
