PC Any way to hook up 2 switches to a generator\door?

I recently found out I can only hook 1 connection via a switch and generator of any kind. That I am aware of, there is absolutely no way to hook 2 switches up to any type of generator or powered door of any kind. I hope I am just doing something wrong because if I cant use 2 switches for any door... then there is almost no reason to use a powered door of any kind. I know for sure the powered garage doors can only have 1 connection to them.. a single connection. So either I have to use a single switch or just hook it straight to the generator. This makes it almost useless because I cant open my garage door from the outside. I hope they have a major update for electrical work in the future. Not to mention, I HATE being able to see all of my wires in my base. Most of the time I choose not to use electricity because it make my base look ugly because of the wires, and attracts more screamers than I can even count.

Side note : Screw screamers! I keep having screamers spawn more screamers. lol

There's a thing called signal passthrough that I know works for powered doors with two motion sensors - one on each side of the door. I guess this would also work with two switches, though i haven't tried it and can't say for sure.

So wiring would be like:

Generator -> Motion Sensor 1 -> Motion Sensor 2 -> Powered Door

and if either motion sensor sees you the door will open.

Generator -> Motion Sensor 1 -> Motion Sensor 2 -> Powered Door

and if either motion sensor sees you the door will open.

So if sensors were on opposite sides of the door what would happen when the door opened?  You approach the closed door and sensor1 opens the door.  Sensor2 sees you through the open door and then closes the door.

That would be funny if it worked that way.

Sensor2 sees you through the open door and then closes the door.
You can setup something like that if you want; hatches can block a camera (or used to), so the second one seeing you can block the first one.

However, the basic function for that setup is, whenever either or both see you, the door gets power.

I hope I am just doing something wrong because if I cant use 2 switches for any door...
About that .. switches won't work for that. Any of the trigger type blocks will though, even trip wires (might want to put it somewhere you have to jump at it or something). Or if you want to keep it "manual", you can basically make a relay system with ~6 relays that you switch by a wire tool.

1 Powered relay (A)

2 relays to connect to via tool (B & C)

each directly connected to the other side of the door to

2 relays to connect from (D & E)

1 target relay (F)

(The single relays can also be the generator and the door, but you need an easy access to reconnect it)

So, basically B gets permanently connected to D, C permanently to E.

A to either B or C

either D or E connects to F ( the direction matters! )

If you want to open door on A-side, you swap the power to the "other" line. To close on F-side, you swap the lines there.

No, I never said it would be pretty, or handy.. :)
