PC Any news on bandit(s) availibility?

Just looking for an update cuz news about them kinda just.... disapeared as A20 came near. I assume it was pushed (hopefully) and not abandoned?
Any possibility on news of bandits from the devs?
I had heard rumor they would be enable-able in XMLs in A20 but alas... I do not see them or know where to do so.

 
Based on the random posts from various devs that feature is being actively worked on, but so far there is no confirmation as to when it will arrive. The hope is obviously for A21, but until the devs say that will happen for sure, it won't be added to the Alpha 21 Dev Diary.

 
Bandits are out due to COVID.  They expect to return sometime after the Zeddy Zed Zed variant is cured.

 
Bandits (and their POIs) are actively being worked on. They are no longer on the back burner. Hopefully the stew will be done by A21.
