Can anyone recommend/suggest a mod that will let me set base and teleport back home?

You can already do that with console commands. Just hit "F1" and type in "DM". In the pause menu you'll see options for teleporting, just write down or memorize your base coords.

In nexusmod there is a Pipermac mod (AOO Teleporters), maybe that is what you are looking for.

There are also admin tools like Server Tools or CSMM that allow you to use a /sethome (or similar) console command while in your home/base to set your "home" location. You can then a use /home command to teleport there.
