Hello, welcome in my topic

My list of mods

suggestions are welcomed, but be aware i'm not doing any mods requiring unity asset, as i don't know how to make them (so not my own models unfortunately)

this topic is WIP

Installation of all my mods:
just extract into Mods folder inside 7 Days To Die game folder (create one if theres none)

some may be incorrectly archived, check if file modinfo.xml is like this

Cinder Fix (and tweaks)

Did you ever wondered why all cinder blocks gave the same amount of stone, no matter if theres one cinder or five of them?
I do, so lets fix it! I did some calculations and recreated those cinders to make more sense.

There are two versions of this mod (use only one):
1. Cinder Fix
2. Cinder Fix and tweaks

Cinder Fix:
- small      (1) cinder harvest 3 stone
- medium (3) cinders harvest 9 stone
- big          (5) cinders harvest 15 stone

Tweaked version:
- includes Cinder Fix
- add option to pickup cinder blocks and smelt them directly in furnace:
     - small      (1) cinder smelt like 4 stone (20 stone in furnace)
     - medium (3) cinders smelt like 12 stone (60 stone in furnace)
     - big          (5) cinders smelt like 20 stone (100 stone in furnace)
- add option to also pickup and smelt iron scrap piles:
     - smelt like 17 iron scrap (harvest give only 15)
- add option to pickup ember piles (burned wood) and use it as fuel.

This mod makes those three stackable up to 10 items.
also added option to scrap/melt Crucibles into iron. (because this one is most useless when you found it and already have)

Do you have a lot of unused bullets from loot or craft and they just take space?
Then box them!
This mod add option to craft Box of ammo from ammo, so you can save some space.
crafting inside inventory
also gas included

theres two versions (use only one):
- Perk required. Required same perk as normal crafting of those boxes. (example Pistol Pete)
- no Perk required. anyone can craft them.

With this mod you can craft Ghillie Mods, so you can be stealthy even in better gear.

requires sniper perk for crafting.
all colorable
jacked mod is placed inside duster (same slot as original ghillie jacket)

Craftable together with original ghillie suit parts, but you can remove the original ghillie suit parts by editing config files (Items.xml and recipes.xml) and remove noted lines.

Were you angry they removed Blunderbuss in A20, just like me?
I was so angry, that i decided to return it back, and here it is.
i tried my best to return in wholly, fortunately some parts were not completely removed from game (model, animations, sounds), what was missing i ported from A19 to A20. i hope i find all parts
if you find any problem, or something missing (i tried even perks to turn back), then tell me and ill look, if it can be fixed or not (or ill tell you i dont know :D ).

instalation:
just extract into Mods folder
must be probably on both sides (client and server), as there are added also icons

I though its nonsense to get wood directly from trees. And as theres already woodLogs in game, why not drop them instead?
as i looked through code, i also findout theres hidden workstation: tableSaw, so i fixed it to work.
recipe for tableSaw is original, i just restored it and added schematic etc.

What this mod does:
-tableSaw workstation works, incl progression and schematic in loot
-Trees drop woodLogs instead of woodResource
-woodLogs, driftWood and Firewood pickupable
---tweaked direct drops from blocks above (cutting)
---blocks above can be saw in tableSaw
-removed Log recipe (just cut some tree)

-bushes drop Branches instad of wood

---branches dropped also from trees
-LogSpike recipe + upgradeable
---client with icons, server with colored cone
-WoodCube recipe
-WindowPlate recipe
-You can pickup all spikes and barbed fence

-Added CharCoal

thats the way if i add them, bud if i want to mantain it as server-only friendly, i need to find a way how to use existing icon. inside variable helper is shape same, and when you open creative menu, theres too and with material image in background.. thats what ill try to figure out (no luck for now, but its late night, so ill try tomorrow).

Could simply do an addon for those of us that don't care about it being server-only? :)   I go both ways haha, it's nice to have a purely server only config available but then having some of the client asset mods does give some really cool stuff!

Maybe @arramus has some more detailed idea on other materials that may come from trees, maybe to fit in with some of hit mods :D

There should be quite a lot of different applications for an extended Forestry Mod from all parts of the trees.

- Tree Resin as a natural salve for infection or for stabilising deep wounds.

- Resin replacement for fat for making flaming torches.

- Resin replacement for burning arrows/bolts.

- Resin to add a burning buff feature to wooden cone spikes.

- Extract sap to make an edible syrup for pancakes/hotcakes.

as possible examples.

i figured background icon can be placed only on "shapes", i managed to recreate it partially, but was unable to apply it on logspikes, so i kept it as colored icon.

Hey I'm using your forestry log mod and in my console it keeps saying fmod error with the stepwood4 audio clip 
what mods are you using? its sounds like conflict in another mod, as my mod does nothing with sounds, and doesnt use stepwwod4 sound anywhere

also please give me log, i cant tell without it, as i dont have any error. (7 Days To Die\7DaysToDie_Data)

@Cronosus Hello, I'm using your forestry mod but I have had issues when trying to scrap plant fiber clothing... I get an error stating that EXC: Division equals zero. Possible mod conflicts? I believe I don't have any items that would cause that.

ill look into it, but it really looks like some sort of conflict

edit: tested and no error. must be conflict with something else.

not-so small project i did for a while. i had hard time to figure how forge works, but finally i managed to add new material and its Steel.. as why not make even steel smeltable right? i did it to make those sometime useless steel parts to be reusable for something else.

i'm basically finished. i had really hard time.

as parts cannot be smelted directly, i used recipes instead, where you can craft steel from them, then you simply put that steel into forge (like scrap iron)

i tried to figure a way, but anything i changed just make those items unscrappable, so this was the best solution. also i added some recipes to craft parts in forge again from steel. (i probably do two versions, one with and one without those recipes)

anyway.. soon to be here

Forestry - small quickfix of log spike (fire damage on wrong one)

also thnking of rewriting this part of code and make steel one upgradeable into fire, thus removing existing fire ones.

 
Small update of "Forestry". removed recipes for direct crafting of burning Log spikes, instead changed into upgrade mode.
need Tree Sap for the last upgrade
