Trader Joel respawing

Trader Joel is continually respawning every few seconds and stays visible less than 1 second. Trader post is open and when he appears, I can open the trader menu but he is not there long enough to make a menu selection. All other traders are working properly. This started roughly after Day 20. All works fine on starting a new game but does the same after day 20. Base is roughly 500m from trader. All old savedata was cleared after A20 loaded.

You could try to reset him with the command "chunkreset" in the console (F1). Do it while inside the trader. I think a chunk is 256 blocks so your base should be far enough away to not get reset.
