I figured it out....this recipe and some others used to be crafted in a forge...so it is looking for forged Iron and Clay.   I will fix all these recipes  shortly and update the files. I will post a download for the specific file for you so you dont have to download the whole thing.

I've recently started getting into the mod. I'm having troubles completing the first of the cloning missions. I was able to craft both the "Seeds Seeds Seeds" and the "Beginner Cloning" missions just fine. I was able to do the "Seeds Seeds Seeds" mission just fine. I can't make any progress on the "Beginner Cloning" mission. When I go to the Farming Table to craft the Cloning Station the only option I have is "Perk" because the game still thinks I don't have the Cloning perk researched yet. My Farm Life skills tab is completely maxed out. There's the 1 point by default in the "Nothing to see here" Farm life level, 2 points in "Cloning", and 2 points in "Planting and Growing". I also have the Intelligence skill maxed out at level 10. I can't figure out why the game doesn't register that I have cloning researched. 

For additional information, this save is a completely brand new save that I started after the mod was installed. I do have quite a few other mods. 

Any help is greatly appreciated

I have not experienced any issues with the Grill or the KitchNaid.    Could you try loading the Mod  by itself with no other mods to see if you still experience the problem?

The problem could be an incompatibility with sirilion's SMX mod, it changes the game's UI.
Because I have not had any problem with the KitchNaid and the Webber Grill to open them, only a problem with the sound of the webber grill and rustic smoker, nothing is heard when opening or closing or making something, but it is easy to solve.

If they already had points in Intellect and Fortitude, and then they started doing the cloning mission, possibly they got bugged and that is the reason why it does not take that they have already learned the cloning skill.
It could also be because of some other mod that they have installed and cause incompatibility.

P.S.  Pipermac there is a small error in the recipe of the mission to make the Random Turret Guard Cloning, he asks you for the Animal DNA recipe when it should be Human DNA.

 
Thanks for the suggestions, Gouki, but I'm not running with any other mod that adds quests or deals with intellect, and we tried it with another character and figured out that the cloning station is unlocked when you buy the first level of cloning, but then it becomes locked when you buy the 2nd level of cloning.

Yup! That was the problem I found! 

 
Thanks pipermac! My players are loving the mod, even in its alpha state.
how many do you have playing it? have you got any feedback like what they really want to be completed next?   I have  quite a few things to do but  am not sure what the priority should be  on them.

Thank you very much for the update 1.21, simple curiosity, in the description it shows only a fix issue and nothing else, ¿are there more changes or was it just that?
I ask because it would be easier to download only the files that were modified, instead of having to download the entire mod.
There is also something that I would like to see changed, I mean the cloning cameras, they emit a lot of light and my vision tires me out, you think that change can be made.

I actually have a whole new set of cloning chambers, just go the assets for them... So they will be changing soon. Ya this version just has the fix.  Change is in recipes. XML and in progression.xml

 
Is there a Wiki for the mod, or any video showing exactly how to do all the cloning and farming?  I'm very very lost.  I've made the simple cloning chamber and did successfully get a Chicken Coop, but when I placed it, it looked like a dead boar and is now just a square slab on the ground?  Am I supposed to do anything different?

heh...its still alpha......working on building up the quest system to help explain things.    The slab on the ground should spawn the animal and then disappear.

 
I just downloaded your mod for the first time (so I got the latest one), and there are a few things that immediately stand out to me by looking at the skills menu.

...Is this intentional?  Are there really only two and three levels of the new perks respectively?  It won't let me unlock the last few levels, despite having Fortitude and Intellect maxed out.

Also, seed packs have no info on how to unlock them.  The XML file says they're unlocked by the Planting and Growing perk, so I assume you have to have that maxed out to unlock the seed packs, which it's not letting me do.

It's still alpha.... More perk levels are coming.... The seed packs I will look into asap. I think I may know why. It may be because you invested in the non existent perks.
