Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

I noticed that when in the wasteland zone, when my anti-rad pill wears off, I get radiated and also get a bleed condition. I use another anti-rad pill, but the bleed condition doesn't go away. I had to use a bandage to stop bleeding. Is this intended or a bug? I don't recall this happening in V3.2.

 
I saw that there are some hireable npc. anybody knows where to find them or how they look like? dont want to kill them by accident


AI was broken so they are temporarily disabled. I plan for them to return in A20.

is it normal that miner 69er doesnt work on stone tools?

The radiation is normal. The bleeding is not. I'll have to have a look at that and see what's going on.

 
Hey! Me and my friends are excited to try this mod out.  This is my first time dealing with mods on any game and xml files and what not. I think I am understanding it. I have my own nitrado server, and when I drag and drop the mod files into the server files through filezilla it seems to not work. I can load into the world, but the HUD and skills, are normal. I can tell some things have changed because there are different blocks and such. Any advice? Thanks

Sounds like it's not installed properly on your server. I'd check the Mods folder.

HOWEVER, I know for a fact that Nitrado don't allow DLL uploads, so I guarantee DF won't work.

 
I have installed this off the 7D2D Mod Launcher. I launch the game and it gets as far as where the main menu should load, but it opens the console and just sits there. The only line of red text i can see is "IndexOutOfRangeException". I have reinstalled twice. Any help is appreciated. I really wanna play this.

Addition: I have now dowloaded the mod files directly from the forum and replaced as necessary. Still same issue.

I would need the log, but make sure you're patching 19.3, not 19.2 or 19.4 experimental.

Is there a recommended place to rent a server from you? We want to eliminate the fact that the host has to be online in order for the rest to play. Is there a place where it is easy to get the DF mod on the server? I have seen a couple website, but do not want to spend any more money unless I know how and if the mod will work there. We are super excited, just trying to figure it out. Thanks again? 


Other users have told me that Bluefang and Logic both seem very good. :)

I checked with others on the server, and they weren't getting the radiation and bleeding damage effect, just radiation. One thing I just thought of tonight while going through gear is that I do have the armor mod in my chest armor that causes bleeding to anyone that attacks me. Could that be triggering the bleed effect on me when the rad damage happens from the wasteland zone?

 
That... is a good shout. It might be.

I can change that so it has to pick a specific tag.

Go into item_modifiers.xml (in mods/0-darknessfallscore/config) and find modArmorSpikes. Replace it with this.

Two questions:

1) We play on a dedicated server. Do I make this change on server, client, or both locations?

2) The PickupJournalEntry with augmentGunsTip doesn't seem appropriate. Is that possibly a copy/paste error?

I will try to view the buff message and remove the mod to try to validate that it is what is causing the issue, and also validate the xml change resolves it.

 
I got the logic server with DF on it, then installed the mod with the 7D2D mod launcher to get it on my game. Everything completed and I am getting an error-attached in the link. Any ideas?

Yeah, started new game on small map 1, and yep, that is the correct darkness falls experience. I like the way that map is set up, it's very intelligent. Also started by putting as few points in crafting skills and buying them from the traders, and it does make the game a little harder. Not sure if that is just my play style or if those skills are needed. Still digging the increased trader usefulness, because holy crap does it make doing missions for them worth it. not just for the recipes you can buy, but also the ability to buy master level perks. 

 
1. Does high tech end game content appear in RWG maps on 19.3? I heard these bunkers only generate in pre set maps

2. What's with the fireballs of demonic zombies? They seem to have an insane radius being able to set you on fire even if it hits a thick wall of concrete infront of you (which you should be hidden behind), making fighting indoors practically useless unless you rush at them with the sledge. I can't grasp how they can set you on fire through walls even if you are 5 blocks distanced away from a barricade they hit. It's especially noticeable in the military bunkers with the stairs leading down to a garage. I run away from them after they awaken, a good chunk of a distance away from them on the stairs and safe with no line of sight. Their fireballs hit the thick concrete roof of the garage and I'am on fire. Is this intentional? 

 
Intentional oder not, I don't know. Just be silent, use silencer on a powerful pistol, use tons of water to extinguish the fire.

 
Hi Khaine, back again. I've tried doing what you've told me to, still ain't working. I have set it to the corresponding ram which is 8 = 12288, did a research and it should be suffice for me to play 7dtd darkness falls mod. I did everything: set up clear virtual memory file clear upon shutdown. I completely wipe the game clean on my PC double check folders specially on appdata and installed a new one using steam. Still to no avail, I hope this is not much of a nuisance on your part. I REALLY REALLY WANT TO PLAY THE MOD. Vanilla is not enough to quench my bloodthirst anymore.

1) It SHOULD. In testing 10 maps, I only had 1 that didn't have everything. Larger map = better chance.
2) Because their weapons put the fire debuff on you at point of impact. "Normal" demons havea block range of 10 from point of impact. Succubus/Incubus is 30.

Yes it's intentional. They're not supposed to be easy to deal with.

So, on my system, I set a MINIMUM of 10GB and a MAXIMUM of 30GB... with 32GB of RAM.

That fixed the unity crash issue.
