F-House, a nice little house that's not so nice

Hello, So here we have a nice little prefab as a filler to make areas look a little more.... varied,
Fairly challenging and hidden surprises, what's not to love :)

All feedback welcome, would love to be able to make it better with feedback :)

Looks nice. great work

Does it have zs

I would recommend making the ground all one rather then the l shape you have it.

Edit:
I dl it.

you also need a pic for the prefab (level tools 2 - create thumbnail)
Then strip internal textures (save) [dont press strip textures lol] then prefab costs (save ) then update imposter to create a mesh.

Another good practice is to make sure no textures are under the prefab (where the terrain touches the block where a player wont see it as it uses memory as even tho the player cant see it the game still needs to add it)

Plenty of Z's in there to keep someone happy with multiple sleeper zones, and got to agree there, will get that sorted in the morning :)

Thanks Fortbrick2

I like the style of the house, the roof could be a different color so that it doesn't look all orange (Maybe brown) and I also agree with Stallionsden in what he tells you.
A great job.

Hi @fortbrick2

Going thru your poi great design :-).

In regards to your volumes,

you have a certain amount of zs in a volume, however you call more zs then are there. this cause errors. quests also unable to finish because it is looking for non existent zs also.

so say you have 10 zs in a volume always set the max zs to either the total zs in that volume or you can also vary it. for example you have 10 zs in a volume total. you can call in 5 max 7 this way each time a player goes into a prefab they wont know where the z will spawn because it will be random.

you can also have 10 - 10 zs spawn to but never more then the total amount of zs in the volume.
As well having a few more zs in a volume then you call is always good for randomness etc but dont add way over board for example - call 5-6 but have like lots more zs in the volume (certain times its ok but the game has to still spawn every zs you have in the volume regardless if it was selected that game or not thus adding to lag and fps issues.

just some tips. Well done on a great poi 🙂

is it ok to add to the Compo Pack to 🙂
