Telrics A19 Modlets (New MOD Added: 07/08/2021)

How do you mean not working? Giving errors? Or just not showing up? If errors, be sure everyone has the mod downloaded on the server. If its not showing up, make sure the mod is being loaded in the console on start up, then check your player to see if you have the telricshealthbarsplayer buff (using F3 and checking the PLY button on the top left. It will display your buffs on the top right.)
I checked as you described but there wasnt any buff icon on the topright. I put the zip file container as Telrics Health Bars 2.0A19 folder into the server's mod folder during startup I dont see any error messages but I dont see any textline about Telrics Health Bars either 

 
and I removed and restard 3-4 times later it wrote "2020-09-06T04:52:08 105.257 ERR Buff Class not found for 'telricshealthbarplayer'" on the launcher that game is really weird 😕

Are you unzipping the file that you download? You drag the folder within the zip file into the Mods folder of the server / client. Take a screenshot of what you have so far. The mod works fine on a server, I have it running on my server just fine.

 
All of my modlets add some new unity files or icons, so both the server and the client need to install them.
I cant do that I'm acting like a new player to the server scenario. it seems better to remove this modlet on my server thanks for your help.

NP. If you ever want to try again later, i've taken a screenshot of the layout needed.

Right click 7 days to die in your steam library, hit properties, then click the tab titled "Local Files". Click on Browse Game Files. This will open up the folder in the center of the screenshot. If you do not have a Mods folder, create one. Be sure to capitalize the M. Once that's done, open the Mods folder and drag the unzipped file from the download into the Mods folder. Boom, you're done.

For the server, it's the exact same thing. Just depends on how your server provider gets to the files... The screenshot i took was through an FTP server.

 
btw do you have any idea on embedding image on xml? I want to change the server join infowindow and esc menu rules windows to jpg screens? how can I embed an image on xml file ?

I dont know yet. I havent been able to dig into that part. Got too many projects going on already.

 
Hello Telric!  We love your horses mod - but after a bit it gets annoying to have horses around all the time and their constant vocalizations.  Is there a way I can fix that?

You can reduce their noise in sounds.xml.. or no...

I know its probably: HorseSpeakSound

But which parameter?  MaxRepeatRate?  What's the limits since it's 0.1 now?  Change to 0.00001?
You can change the maxrepeaterate to a much higher number (it's in seconds). So value=10 would be 10 seconds between when its possible for the sound to play again.

Version 2.0 is getting nearer to being complete.. ill be sure to increase the rate in the next version.

@Telric, I finally tried Vincent yesterday and it's awesome! Do you have any plans for expanding the mod? If so, I would have couple of suggestions if you're open to suggestions, that is.  :encouragement:

Yeah always up for suggestions. Vincent was kinda just a test to see how people would like it. The only problem is it dont work on servers... but i might find a way sometime. Right now it uses straight buffs but i might can do something with a single buff and cvars that change it. Ill have to look into it after my horse mod is complete.

Well, it is a very cool concept and perhaps it could become a foundation for a set of NPC helpers!

I was thinking maybe Vincent could also gather other resources like iron, lead, coal, nitrate, etc. Also, it would be cool if we could pick him up and place elsewhere - I was surprised that it was not possible. I placed him right behind the base and now it seems like I won't be able to build in that area unless he dies, which I wouldn't really like either, since that would mean I will lose the coins I invested into him.

Another idea that I had was a farmer based on Vincent. Perhaps you could hire a guy to take care of your garden too! Give him gardening tools, farm plots, water, seeds and he will keep the base supplied on food! :)

Another NPC helper could be a crafter! Give him schematics, tools and materials and he will craft those items for you AND maybe he could get better over time, so the more he would study the schematics, the higher quality his crafted items would be! Something like what we used to have back in Alpha 16.4 Starvation mod. ;)

 
I would very much like to do all that and more. The issue with it not working on a server (yet?) as well as vincent reverting to no buffs if you leave the chunk make it less appealing for me to do till i figure that part out. Would be nice to give an npc something to do while you go off and do your own thing, instead of needing to stay at the base.
