Mod List

I am not sure this thread/list is still updated?
Maybe, Maybe not. Last post I saw was in October 2019 at the top of this page. I was going to ask if there was a way to add links to the lists, as they are all only text, and with the timer on the search function it's taking forever to copy/paste everything in order to find info for each mod.

I've been using the Modlets in the Launcher and starting and restarting the game to deal with compatibility issues and test to see what each mod adds when they don't have a useful description.

Sorry guys. I know you worked hard on these. It's just that in the Launcher some mods have 1 or 2 word descriptions, and others have multiple listings (with exact wording) for the same mod but with different Author spellings, so it's hard sometimes to figure out which mod works and/or affects what when troubleshooting.

i'm looking for a mod that i used to like alot in a17 ( generic ammo boxes ) i could not find it anymore, any news about it?

Great work with the list, I just started using it, but now no links work anymore :(

Hopefully it will be a quick fix for you to make links working again, if you need some help I can help finding new links to the mods on the list, but it will take some time.

I really wonder how they could allow all links to the forum stop working. Links to the forum is dead all over, videos, mod pages everything, this is really bad...

Yeah thats a shame none of the links work anymore, I will no longer be updating the list but will at least leave the list that is currently available for people who want to google or forum search their names but, Im sure as hell not going through them all again.

Alternatively if MoparGamer or someone updates the links from a copy of mine I will copy the updated list to the original.

Im sad to hear that, you did excellent work with that list, but totally understandable. Its a shame that the forum developers did not think about this. I have seen plenty of forums being improved and updated with working links or easy fixes.

Unfortunately, broken links will need to be manually fixed case by case.  This was not a simple upgrade or improvement of the existing forums.  This was a migration to a completely new platform with a completely different URL.

All official company links were fixed and manually changed by the company. All user created links also must be manually changed. There is no magic button to press that will do that.

I appreciate the work of Clockwork Orange and the desire he had to help the community by organizing all the mods and absolutely understand his not wanting to go through and redo all his work. But it will take someone else or a group of someone’s from the community to fix the links if we want to have a working index.

The index is community made and must be community maintained. Here’s hoping someone steps into the breach. It sounds like Clockwork has generously agreed to work with that person in updating his existing list once the legwork has been done.

It’s bad news I know. I will at least start a thread where each mod author can post the link to their own thread. That can spread the burden a bit at least among those who are actively here and make it easier for someone to copy and compile them into either a new index or Clockwork’s existing index.
