thats what you get for being too good 😁
now, you have been very communicative, I (and probably all of us) really appreciate that!

Not all of the MF bugs need to be fixed for experimental. 3 of mine are graphics issues on Linux, 3 for Mac and 1 for a really old AMD GPU. To me, those should not hold up experimental.
Also as a Linux user I say that should be top of the list. 🤥 And if you need a tester let me know. 😉 I might even have an old AMD GPU.

That's bad. You guys can only squash like 14 MF tops per week being said bugs of various fixing difficulties and teams involved.  So the bug free release is in 40-50 days from now in the worst case scenario, which in fact is the best, because 14 MF per week can be sometimes 7 fixed, or 50 remaining bugs for the programming team only.
Thats a lot of text to say "We cant know"

Not the response I was expecting...
Glad to disappoint? :D

There it is.
I completely understand the rationale of offering to be a Linux Tester... however, I'm sure there are plenty of the existing testers that have at least a passable knowledge of Linux, and it's not like TFP would have a hard time locating Linux gamers (with specific system hardware if it made any difference) from the Steam analytics if they actually did need more.

Got the Tier 3(5?) machine gun for the game.  It has a steel/brass hybrid case so making the ammo would be more expensive to the player.

The new weapon is the SIG Sauer MG 6.8mm.  Suposedly the "Ooh ahh" weapon of the future.

Edit: You can also just switch the barrel assembly and fire 7.62.

I completely agree, thus the joke. With a company as small as TFP, I'm sure they already have a few hard core penguins on staff.

I know you are in Houston area, so I will assume you have been exposed to many kinds of guns. I will have to disagree with you on functionality. I consider ammo capacity part of that. Except for some customized rifles, I have never seen one with large bullet capacity. Second there is a difference between handling a magnum revolver and desert eagle.

I must say it is fun to spin the cylinder of revolver before closing it. At least first few times firing one.

Also a thank you for bringing modding Community together. Its best of any game I have played.

There are other places in Texas you probably dont want to smell either. Pasadena Texas comes to mind with all the refineries. It can get pretty bad.
I'd agree that the *real* definition of assault rifles would include higher mag capacity and a full auto mode, but in today's world terms I'd argue that the difference is how scary they look.  The vast majority of "assault rifle" stories we see these days fit the latter.

And yeh Pasadena smells pretty bad.  :)

As far as guns in the game, it's one area I encourage simplification.  One generic pistol, generic shotgun, generic rifle, generic machine gun, and let mods/ammo types handle the variations.

So pretty close to how it is now.
