Zombie pathing in 2.5

Sorry if someone already posted about this. I checked and could not find anything.

Anyone notice that zombies act different now, especially on horde night? We had an entire farm house collapse on us, and it was only day 14. They went for the support pillars instead of trying to find a way to get for us. Very interesting....

I don't mind it TBH, yeah before it seemed too predictable. For me it was always about them being too smart. I think they should just be drawn to the player no matter what and just break anything around and under the player, kind of like in zombie movies. Either way I think I like this new pathing. I don't usually build bases, I just choose a POI and let them destroy it. If you do a quest in it laster the chunk resets anyways. haha.

The smart AI zombies were given was said to be the base for bandit AI. So it might be now that bandits are not far off zombies may revert to more random behavior. Maybe a few special ones keep some of their smarts or something.

Now, wait a minute. The whole discussion since I've been around is that they are to predictable. So that changes a bit and now is "BASE NERF!"??
I love it i made a compound base and they were coming from areas I didnt predict. I love it

Im okay with zombies being smart in this world

Sure without a dedicated path they "Destroy Area" more often.

The same ole meta elevated fighting position still works fine...
