PC Xbox one - no sound effects

So i can't seem to get some sound effects to work at all, i can hear my breathing, running, the environment but when it comes to gathering resources, shooting a gun, riding the minibike and a few others i get no sound at all. Just an awkward silence that's driving me nuts. Is this a common bug that's being worked on or am i just sol?

Hi Slooz,

Thanks for the bug report. What is your sound system setup like? I have had a report of something similar before whereby the players friend or some such had changed their surround sound without them noticing in such a way that not all of the games audio was coming through to them. If this does not happen to be the case, have you only noticed this since the last patch? Or has this occurred before?

Hey Ro thanks for the fast reply, and right now it's just the typical hdmi straight to tv setup nothing crazy.

As for when it began I'm not sure, it's always been like that since i bought it for the x1 which was about 2 weeks ago. My pc one is perfectly fine.

 
Ok, thanks Slooz. Could you possibly try clearing the cache of your system (power down and unplug your console for 5 minutes) and let me know if that helps resolve the issue.
