PC Xbox one crash and deletes everything

Hey guys, so I was on night 19 on split screen and the game crashed. We made the base in a house we spawned by. When loaded it back up, we got a thing saying "your bedroll is gone" and EVERYTHING in the house except what we were carrying was gone. I found an earlier thread from 2016 and decided to make this one, two years later, to bring up this topic again.

What's going on? I'm quite upset and I'm nearly crying because I put so much work into this. We weren't even gone a full day in-game...

 
You want to look up the MD5 error in the console section of the forum.

It it very common on the Microshaft platform and there are a lot of threads with tips on how to avoid it, and how to recover if it happens. You probably missed two years of posts because you didn't know exactly what you were looking for. Now you do :)
